Arrived home safely

I arrived home safely. While gone, we celebrated my husband's 61st B-Day. He says he can brag that he is old. I pointed out that he has done that for years!! Ha! HA!

Anyway, all is well, grades are posted, and I am back to work in the morning.

Well, there is a bit of snow on the ground, especially out in the open. The trees are keeping the ground warm enough (for now) to melt off the snow. I am glad that I brought three coats with me, the better to chose from!

We went and saw a movie today. It was good. I cooked dinner. All is well. I am completely within calorie/fat/carb range. I still need to work on getting the protein up every day.

Tomorrow I will drive south again.

OK. The week is nearly done. I had three court hearings. I filed four complaints. I packed the car. I will teach at CSCC. THEN: I will head north to have a short break away from home.

I am within my calorie range, protein range, and carbohydrate range!

New Milk

HA! Threw out the bad milk, got some new milk, And all is well. Therefore, I was able to have my favorite cereal this morning, packed my lunch, and just filled my water bottles.

I carry two gallons of water in the car, have two gallons of water at my desk at work, and have four water bottles to measure my "formal" intake during the day.

Therefore, there is no such thing as "I am thirsty, I will stop to get a drink". That drink means, of course, soda!!

I fell into that trap with my husband last Saturday. The good news is that we dd that only once during Saturday. Whew!!

Anyway, I have 14 court hearings today, so I am off to work!

Milk was bad

OK, so, I opened the refrigerator this morning for my morning cereal/milk thing, and the milk was BAD!! I purchased it only two weeks ago. What gives? I almost thing someone put some of my beloved lemon juice in it.

So, back to square one: Actually Quaker Chewy bar.

So, I must do better for lunch: AHA! My peanut butter (crunchy) and raspberry jam sandwich on luscious toasted oat bread. YUM!!

Then, homemade chicken soup for dinner (with barley, shredded carrots, and peas).

Yesterday, I walked more than 10K steps, for the first time since the summer. Very cool.

Now, to be more regular and steady about that walking program!! HA!

I still fit in my suit today. I think I have a spark streak happening!

Sorry about the milk. I'm thinking it's a soup kind of day at my house too as it has been raining all day. My son is supposed to have a soccer game later but I have a feeling it will be canceled.
