I got nutin......................Sunday, June 13, 2010
For the first time, I could not think of anything to blog about. Things have been going great but nothing stimulating had happened to give me an idea. Then it happened! A new friend sent me a goodie and it really cheered me up. It's amazing how something so small can make a difference. Thankyou new friend! ![]()

Well, sometimes NUTIN is better than SUMTHIN if the SUMTHIN is something awful! I am glad there is no drama in your life right now!!!

I love getting up at the crack of dawn, before anyone else in my household. It is so quiet and peaceful. I can hear the birds chirping. I can tidy up the house and nobody is up to mess it up. It gives me time to exercise without hearing, "Mom, you are obsessed." Nobody is "Momming" me and I don't have to mess up my clean kitchen preparing food for family members who are old enough to take care of their own needs. I can sneak out to go shopping or walking and nobody even knows that I am gone. I enjoy sparking in the morning. Who needs sleep anyway; it's overrated.
Are you an early bird? What do you do before anyone else gets up?

To change the time, you have to save. If you get into that page and then out, it reverts to eastern time.

NIght owl- Spark always show the next day by time I get on for the day. I've tried several times to change the time zone, but always reverts to an earlier zone. Report Inappropriate Comment |

I am more and more of a night owl the older I get. I usually wait until the coffee is ready before I get up.

I am an early bird -- I get up at 5:00 am whether I set the alarm or not! I love lollygagging in bed -- drinking my coffee and reading a cheesy novel! Then I'll get up at 6:00 or 6:30 for real!

Though I am not an early bird liking person, I do enjoy getting up early for some peace and quiet. I do that in the evening, too. I like that hour or so of no one being in my hula hoop. Sigh...I love it... :)

Yes. I am an early bird too! I was just thinking today as the dogs woke me up to fed them at the crack of dawn how I actually love that quiet as well. For me, the crack of dawn also means that I get to see the sun rise over Mt. Hood. Often that scene is gone by 6:00am because the clouds have rolled in. So, I get an extra bonus for getting out of bed P.S. I love your term "MOMMING ME" Comment edited on: 6/12/2010 9:12:33 AM Report Inappropriate Comment |

I am in total agreement with you. I get up 1 to 2 hours earlier than anyone else in the house. I spend a lot of it reading my email, doing spark, or just enjoying the quiet. Luckily, I have trained most of my children to get their own breakfast, but I have a granddaughter who thinks the world revolves around her and "Nana" needs to jump when she wants something.
