It took me three days but I finally finished decorating the tree. I have a few last minute details to finish around the house and then I am done.

    I love Christmas, too. It took 4 of us 1 day to decorate, and a whole day to clean up and put the boxes away. Is it worth it??? YA!!!

December goals:

It's December, and time to update my goals. I like to keep my goals short and sweet. That way it is easier for me to remember them and I can be more flexible.

December goals:

1. Track food and exercise.

2. Stay within calorie range.

3. Eat enough fruits/veggies.

4. Exercise 30-60 minutes daily.

5. Visit my SparkFriends daily.

6. Keep a positive attitude.

7. Read more (and not just novels).

Don't fall asleep...

I fell asleep and slept for an hour. Now (after changing into my PJ's) I can't get back to sleep. After my DH complained that I was "bouncing around in bed" I came out into the living room and decided to spark. Sometimes you've just gotta regroup.

    I hate nights like that. Sometimes when I can't sleep in bed I go to the couch and then can fall right to sleep.

    Welcome to the Nightowl Society! Yes, there is life after midnight and my astronomer DH and I are always the last to turn off the lights in our neighborhood. As I tell my hub when he can't get to sleep: It helps to turn off the lights and close your eyes LOL! Wish I had a magic cure for this, but I suspect we each have to find our own ways that work. In the meantime, if you have to get up early, I recommend you go back to bed and close your eyes! If not, spark on with the rest of the nightowls! As a member of the Nighowls in the Daytime Team, I promised to try to get to bed by the same time every night (2:00 AM), so I better go now!

How can I go wrong. I got 500 Sparkgoodie points this AM. I'm up a few pounds since this time last week but that's no problem. All of the leftovers are gone and I'm back on track. Christmas decorations are under control; I just need to finish the tree and the outside lights. I'm going to resume my challenges today.

Slowly but surely

I am slowly but surely getting back into the sparkswing. I'm using the nutrition tracker again and am getting lots of exercise. Today I put our Mary/Joseph/baby Jesus/wise men display up outside and got four of the wreaths up outside. My DH had an injury and cannot help but I am getting things done slowly but surely. The tree is up and ready to decorate tomorrow. Many of the presents have been bought.

This week I'm hitting spark hard. I want to stay in good shape for the holidays so I can start the new year right!
