I hope this brief blog finds everyone happy, healthy and burning FAT!
I'm off to Vegas for a fabulous vacation of one and a half weeks. I'm still going eat healthy (at least most of the time). I'm taking some fiber mix and protein mix. And I love drinking water so that won't be a problem.
I've not weighed myself this month, as my official posting date is April 6 but I'm sure the ticker has "not" moved. However, due to the 8 lb. loss in Feb. my clothes are still fitting a bit better.
When I return I'll be back in the gym 5 days a week.

Ok.......so it's been an absolutely awful week/month. Last month I lost 8lbs. however this month the scale has not moved.....at all. Please note I'm not saying this with a surprised look on my face.
Truth be told I've not made the most healthy decisions on a "consistent" basis. And in fact the last few days I've made really bad decisions (I won't even run down the menu). I don't know what came over me, but I was craving something fried and something salty.
How sick is it to "fry" an eggplant? Well, I did and I sprinkled it with hot sauce and garlic salt. That only triggered my craving for popcorn (my favorite snack in the Universe!). I felt like such a Loser........after eating. And then the guilt of it all made me say "*&%^" it and I eat some more. OMG(oodness)!
It was like the refrigerator scene from 9 1/2 weeks only I didn't look HAWT!(hot) *raising one eyebrow*
Anyway, today is a New Day and this moment is the most important moment. So I'm making a decision to eat healthy today and to exercise.........One day at a time, One meal at a time, One healthy choice at a time.
I looked at my eating/exercise for last month and I noticed that when I scale down my choices (breakfast/lunch) I do much better. For me (at least for now, anyway) I don't need to have "too" many choices while I'm losing weight. Also, I need to make sure I'm getting 35 grams of fiber daily and drinking 10-12 glasses of H20, that works well for me.
Sometimes, you just have to get back to basics.............perhaps I got a little excited with my weight loss and my jeans fitting a little better :D. Now it's time to just buckle down again and do what I know I can do.
I'll be changing my homepage soon, to reflect my new goal weight loss goals. I don't think it's realistic/healthy to loss 27lbs. by May 12th (my birthday).

I seem to be "stuck" on eating chicken/steak philly sandwiches. I don't know why...........ummmmmmmm. Let's see, could it be that they are tasting soooooooooooo good to me?
I make them at home and the calories/fat/carbs aren't all that bad. It's mostly onions & peppers with just a bit of meat and fat free cream cheese, wrapped in a South Beach whole wheat, garlic, rosemary, basil tortilla.
Ok, ok.......let's say it together. Yummmmmmmmmmmmmm :D....lol
The only real problem is that I've been eating 2 at a time...lol Mostly because I'm so hungry after working out at the gym, I don't usually eat breakfast before my workout. And it's usally late (as of late...12p-1p) in the day to call it "breakfast" and I'm finding it difficult to get "all" my calories in by 7p. *see my food log*
I am drinking my water, at least 8 glasses a day. I'm hoping my low calorie consumption doesn't effect my weight lose this week.
One other thing.................I had a terrible tooth ache last night. I mean it whipped my butt until 5:30a. My tooth, nose, eye and throat throbbed all night............OMG(oodness) it was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy worst than the natural child birth I have to my son (14yrs. ago) and thought I'd die birthing him.
Looking back..............that natural child birth was a walk in the park on a warm summer day. *serious*
Anyway, I was soooooooooooo tired this morning/afternoon I've not done any cardio today. I'm going to do some strength training at home today. I don't want to activate this tooth again jumping up and down.
It's now almost 4p and I've only eaten once today (very slowly, I might add).
Guess, what I ate? :D

I'm sooooo happy! I lost another 4 lbs. this week. As you know I gained last week (+.8) but I'm definitely back on track. According to my weight lost goals I "should" be at 164.04 however I'm at 165.2.
I'll take it!
Next week (March 5) will be my first month and my goal weight is to close out the month at 162 lbs.
Ok, I have to run...........you know I gotta go......
burn some FAT!!!!
