Today I got my mojo after I didn't think I had any. Again, I didn't sleep last night. I fell asleep ok at 11 p.m., but was up at 5 a.m. Now, that is still night time to me. I was exhausted all day and tried to nap and couldn't. Work is just really busy. Since I got to the e-team, I have been getting a lot of leads. So, my brain is going.
My daughter has been doing yoga in school and when she heard that I got Bob Harper's yoga dvd, she wanted to do it with me and said we would do it every day together. I love that! It is so much fun working out with her. We do need a second matt however. She said she would do the whole 6 weeks with me. After Bob, I had to try Jillian's Ripped in 30. I like it probably better than the others. She isn't as tough..the work out is, but she makes you feel better in this one if that makes sense. I decided to go back to 5 lb weights since I haven't been doing a lot of weight training. Then, after that, I decided to do Walk it Out since I still want to finish my 4th Island. I didn't finish it . I have 30 capsules left to go.
Workout time- 2 hours, calories burned 810, water drank like 80 ounces, calories good!

I didn't start out so good this morning, but then again I am not a morning person. I got a call from someone who was referred to me by a former client. She and her husband want to sell their house and buy another one Those are the best words a realtor can hear So, we are going to go there on Saturday to talk about listing their house and starting the search for the new one. I've already put in an automatic search for them.
I worked out twice today. The first time I just did Walk it Out because I am so closed to finishing this Island I can taste it. Only 140 capsules left. I didn't walk it out though; I jogged it out. I did intervals. I only got in 45 minutes because I had to go and get my daughter. Got in 64oz of water before I left. When I came back, I did 2 miles of Leslie Sansone with the stretchy band and Walk it Out. That was another 60 minutes of exercise. So, now I am up to 14,600 steps and the day is not over.
I have stayed within my calories all day. The only thing I drank which was not water was Crystal light iced tea. I gave up soda almost a year ago when I was diagnosed with the colitis and, honestly, I don't miss.
I had a slow start, but ended with a bang! I want to be the biggest loser of this challenge.

I can't wait to start the weight loss challenge tomorrow. I don't think that I have ever done a challenge on here that was a weight loss challenge and not just an exercise challenge. It finally seems as though the scale is going in the right direction. I lost .5 lb. I know it is not much, but it is a beginning. Now, I need it to keep going down.
I'm thinking part of the reason is I mixed it up with the exercise so much last week. I am going to keep doing that. We made chicken breast for dinner last night. Tonight we are doing tacos. Brian uses 96% lean ground beef and makes up his own seasoning so there is not so much salt. I think we are on a roll -- two days of not going out
Tomorrow is supposed to be beautiful so I will get to see JC. The girl that works out there is going to show me a trick to get his bridle on if he continues to play his game. I may just try the treat in the pocket trick.
Oh well..Angie, let's get this challenge started!

A spark friend just spark mailed me a blog she wrote and it really helped me remember why I am here. I am here to be honest with myself and my spark friends as to what I am doing wrong and what I am doing right. I have made every excuse I can about the scale. But, it only lies for so long and then you have to believe it is the truth.
Soon, I won't have a choice, but to listen to the box. I am starting the Biggest Loser Team weight loss challenge. Today is the last day for signups and the challenge starts Tuesday. On this one, it'll all be out there. But, I have decided I am in it to win it. I am done with the excuses. I know I have said that a million times before. I have made some really good habits. Quit smoking, eating breakfast, working out. Now, I need to take the next step and really start challenging myself again.
I also need to take a hard look at the Spark people daily nutrition thing that they set up for you. I never use and I think I need to start. I just have to figure out how to incorporate what we have in the house with what they put down for meals. This is my weak point--the eating. We must eat out 5/7 days a week. But, I'm not going to win it doing that. I think I need to start planning my meals based on what this site says. That is what I am going to work on. Planning and eating right. I don't eat sweets or candy or any of that. I think the problem is the sodium content at restaurants and the fact that you really don't know what they are putting into the dish. As I said before, if I can just lose 11 lbs by the wedding, I can be back into the 150's and back into my black dress. That gives me 6 weeks. Don't know if it is doable, but I certainly can try :)
Thanks Connie for your great blog to get me thinking!
