My workouts are getting longer and harder, but I am seeing some results, not on the scale, but who cares. My clothes fit better and DH paid me a complement on my arms yesterday as I was changing shirts because I did not like the way the first one looked. It a little change in the stomach area, but not much. It is hard to work off the belly. SO I know I need to change up what I eat. Those peanut M&M's and coke I had last week probably did not help either, but I owned that I ate it and there is nothing I can do now except make better choices in the future.
Day 38 was Legs still working my way up to the max weight I used before my injury, but slowly.
Day 39 was Arms abs and cardio
Day 40 was Shoulders and And cardio
Day 41 Legs (missed this workout, hanging out with the family and before you knew it was too late)
Day 42 is today a rest day! I will also be taking my progress photos today. I found the battery charger, it was in the camera bag!
Dinner today is homemade rotisserie chicken, grilled vegetables, and brown rice. I have a rotisserie oven and takes about 3 hours to cook it and then there is plenty for me to take for lunch this week. The cafe at work is too expensive so I take my breakfast lunch and 3 snacks everyday.
While out with the family yesterday, DS needed sweatpants for basketball, I bought a pull up bar, this way I can do my pull ups at home and not look so ridiculous at the gym. LOL!

Oh boy, my legs got a good workout tonight. Took my time and went slow, lowered the weights when I felt I could not get through, it was good. Thank goodness tonight was a no cardio night. I may have passed out.
Tonight's workout was as follows
Wide stance barbell squat
Walking barbell lunge
Barbell step ups
Pile Dumbbell squat (felt the burn here)
Standing calf raises
Donkey calf raises
DD had her PSAT test this morning, basketball this evening and is now doing homework. Busy schedules. DS had basketball today too and they were both done at the same time, can you say WooHoo! One pick up only. It was a crazy day at work, good crazy, it was super busy. But it made the day go by faster. Going to get the laundry in the dryer and to bed before or at 9 PM. I have to start going in early since I made a deal with NATPLUMMER that I (we) would start on morning workouts next week. I guess practice makes perfect and I was a lot less cranky this morning at our meeting, could be the rest.

I should have gotten up early yesterday morning for my workout, but it did not happen. I overslept and was a few minutes late for work. But I made it. Had a meeting that was scheduled at 4 PM, but it was cancelled at 4:10 PM woohoo! I go home at 4:30 PM and every minute counts. Both the kids are in basketball and I have to pick up DD at 5:15 and then go home and pick up DS to drop him off at 5:45, so there is no time to stay over not even 5 minutes late. If I hit the freeway at 4:45 or later it take me almost 30 minutes to get home. I only live 12 miles from work. So no more late meetings PLEASE!
I did my workout last night, which meant, yep you guessed it, I did not get up this morning either. I will shot for the AM workouts next week.
Widr Grip Pullups 3/10, more like 1/1, until I had done 30 total. I have always had a hard time with pull ups. Took over 15 minutes to do. LOL!
Bent Over barbell row 3/8 12 lb bar
Seated cable row 3/8 40lbs
Wide grip lat pulldown 3/10 50 lbs
One arm dumbbell row 3/8 8lbs
Hammer strength lat pulldown 3/10 30 lbs (don't like this machine)
Hyperextensions 3/8 (don't like this machine either)
Treadmill for 30 minutes
Tonight's workout is Chest/Abs I will do this while DS is at basketball. Dinner is already done for tonight, just have to heat it and eat it. We will have dinner at different times, due to our crazy schedules.

I am so behind on my blogs so this will be a recap of the week.
Had a very busy week at work and was so glad that it came to an end on Thursday.
I had Physical Therapy on Wednesday was given the ok to go ahead and do my leg workouts but with light weights. I was so happy that I was cleared.
Here is my workout schedule for Week 5
Wednesday Legs - Nice and easy leg workout with light weights, felt good, but took it easy because it was the first day back with the weights.
Saturday Legs also through in 30 minutes of elliptical/stair stepper machine while DH played basketball.
Sunday Rest day, rest yeah right, full of laundry and scrapbooking. Also cooking to prepare meals for next week. I have noticed that if I don't plan my meals ahead that's when I eat the junk food.
Week 6 of this work is a repeat of Week 5 so it will be just as intense as last week.

Can someone say woohoo! I can start to do legs again! Went to Physical Therapy this afternoon, not by choice, but went to see what they would say. I was against going because my hamstring and the whole leg felt so much better that I did not think I needed it. The PT said that I have full range of motion and no signs of any pulled or strained muscles, so it is okay to start with small leg work outs, not the full 3/10 sets that I was doing when I injured myself, but more like 2/5 and use my body weight or no more than 10 lbs to start. I am so excted to be able to get back the leg workouts.
