Jackie Warner Workouts and my workout plan

I am always looking for a new workout, I get bored easily doing the same workouts all the time. About 2 weeks ago I was browsing through Barnes and Noble and I came across a Jackie Warner book, 10 pounds in 10 Days, it was $5.98. So I picked it up, I am a sucker for clearance books too. emoticon

This book lays out the workouts and gives you a list of Fruits and Vegetables and what they are good for, just what I needed. So far, I am liking this book. But of course I got sick and only completed the first 3 days. Feeling better now so I will get back on it tomorrow. taking one more extra day just to play it safe.

So my workout plan will be the following: Warm up and Cool down (every session)
Cardio Acceleration = 100 rotations of jump rope (let's see how long I can go) emoticon

Day 1: Chest, Biceps, Abs, and Cardio Acceleration
Day 2: Shoulders, legs, Abs, and Cardio Acceleration
Day 3: Back, Triceps, Abs and Cardio
Day 4; High-Intensity Interval Cardio
Day 5: Full Body-Circuit
Day 6: Chest, Biceps, Abs, and Cardio Acceleration
Day 7: Shoulders, Legs, Abs, and Cardio Acceleration
Day 8: Back, Triceps, Abs, and Cardio Acceleration
Day 9: High Intensity Interval Cardio
Day 10: Full Body Circuit

This repeats for 3 Phases and the reps increase in the 3rd Phase.

    I just picked up one of her books at Walmart for $3.97 on clearance too! It's called This is Why You're Fat. I'm interested in finding out if the 10lbs in 10 days really works! New Workout Clothes

For the first time in forever I am able to fit into a women's size medium T-shirt. I bought new shoes and thought what they heck, let's get some T-shirts to match, bought them and a medium fit. Woohoo! that's a non-scale victory for sure. I am doing very good thus far, hope you all are too! emoticon

Happy Sunday

Just thought I would write a blog to say hi to everyone. Busy weekend for me, with rearranging the house furniture in my scrapbook room and dining area.

So far for 2014 I have been staying on track. I ate a little bit more than I was suppose to with the cake and ice cream I had today, no it wasn't anyone's birthday at home it was there so I ate it. OWN IT BURN IT.

Off to bed soon, tomorrow I start my 4:30 AM workouts as the gym is way too crowded for me in the evenings. It always happens like this at the beginning of the year. But I am going to make it work. If I can't get in the gym, I have home equipment I can use, but I totally prefer the gym.

BLC 24 Goals

Now that I have things under control at home. All good things. I have decided to join BLC again. I had so much fun in previous rounds and actually lost the weight. I have gained some of those pounds back and thought I need to get back on the wagon.

SO with that said my Goals for BLC Round 24 are as listed below:
Lose 15 pounds (this will get my BMI into normal range)
Eat more fruits and veggies and less things that come pre-packaged
Drink my water
Workout on a regular basis
Stress less over things I can't handle
Put me first, although this is the last thing I listed, I saved the best for last ME!

Just Checking in (so much going on)!

Just thought I would check in, it has been so long since I posted a blog.

All is going good! So to sum it all up here is a quick overview of what has been going on in the last several months.

DD graduated and started college, she is local at the University and staying at home. She now has her own car and is looking for a job. The car was gifted from DH, he bought a new one 3 weeks ago.

DS is playing basketball and has a 3.67 GPA. This kid is doing so good. He will be studying for the SAT soon.

DH is doing good. Just working a lot as usual.

I got a promotion at work and have moved out of my old division (a blessing to me my and headaches). I am with the same agency just in a different division.
