Pump Class

Finally got the nerve up to try a Body Pump class at the gym and have to say while it kicks my butt and I'm sore as can be afterwards, it's an awesome kind of sore. I love the class! My goal is to go to this class at least 3 times a week and fit in cardio 3 times a week as well. Any day I cannot make it to the class, I can do at home as I've purchased some weights and medicine ball to help me out a little. emoticon

So as of today I am back up to 215 lbs...YUCK!!! My knees hurt and my legs look swollen and I feel crappy and tired all the time! I can't take it anymore!

I am setting my first goal to get my a$$ back to the gym in the morning at 5 am and start better eating with less sodium tomorrow.
Next is to lost 10% of my current weight...so that's 21.5 lbs and that will take me to 193.5 lbs. So that is my first weight goal. This is the year to make it happen. I turn 35 next week and I am not happy about where my weight and depression levels are lately and I AM going to change them for good!
So 193 here I come!

    Thanks for the words of Encouragement! I made it to the gym and did 30 mins on the bike at various levels from 5-10 for a few minutes of each level before switching it up and also 20 minutes on the treadmill...5 mins walk, 1 min run, 4 mins walk, 1 min run, 3 mins walk 1 min run, 2 mins walk, 1 min run, 1 min walk and 1 min run. My legs are KILLING me especially after going up and down stairs numerous times at work afterwards (highschool with no elevator so no cheating!) I think a bath is in order tonight to relax the muscles a bit and then back to gym again at 5 am tomorrow! :)

    Great goal to get to the gym in the am. I just got back into a regular workout pattern again this week with cardio telling myself to start with 10 min at least and always end up doing much more. I can relate to your joint pain...I have the same issue and always feel better after working out.
Make your 35 birthday your new year of you...I know you can do this! Hang in there..one day at a time :)

New Rewards for Weight Loss Goals

I decided that I needed rewards and small goals to make me stay motivated longer and keep the momentum going! These goals are ones that I am currently striving to reach and then maintain for life! I CAN DO THIS!!!
CW 215 lbs

199 lbs -hair cut & highlights
180 lbs -CD's for ipod and new shoes
160 lbs - massage
150 lbs - new clothes
125 lbs - ***LIVE LIFE HAPPILY & TRIP WITH HUBBY ***

I FINALLY DID IT!

I finally did it! I reached my first 2 goals today! Woo! Hoo! emoticon I weighed in under 200lbs and I also reached my 50lbs lost goal! I feel soooo good! All the hard work and determination is paying off and I feel GREAT!!!! I know I can continue to keep going strong and pushing myself every step of the way! It just shows me that the more I push and the harder I try that I will get there eventually. Slowly...but I WILL DO IT!!!!!!!!! I am so proud of me! emoticon

A new me!

This week I've been able to focus and get so motivated! I have planned out all my meals and exercise is going great! I feel like it's a fresh beginning! I've finally broken my plateau that I hit for almost 3 months. I reached my 40# loss from when I originally started my journey! I can't wait till I hit the 50# loss mark! It will be shortly!
