Sundays are usually my days of rest from exercise. I decided that I would still have it as my day of rest, but I would still do some exercise. Today I spent most of the day laying in my bed with my feet elevated and reading a book on my new Kindle my son got me for Christmas. I'm also done with the book. I will probably finish it tonight. It's Mary Higgins Clark's "Just Take My Heart." I just love her books. I like to have my TV on while I'm reading. So I have been watching the NCIS marathon on the USA channel and reading my book. Just the nice relaxing day that I needed for a change. In the late afternoon, I did my WATP workout and a little bit of walking. So, I got 30 minutes of exercise in for today.

First of all, I want to thank everyone again for all the support and encouragement you sharing with me on my blogs. It really makes me feel great and motivated to continue. I've even had a few people tell me that I am motivating them. I am so happy to be motivating others. It really makes me want to continue.
Today has been a busy day. The dogs let me sleep in a little later since it's Saturday. I got up to let them out. Usually, I will lay back down and went for their bark to let them in. Instead, I decided to get the broom and sweep the living room, dining room aka my son's studio, and the kitchen. I laid back down for a little bit longer, but couldn't get back to sleep. I got up and made some eggs. I started Sparking a little while I ate my breakfast. I did a little peddling on my mini cycle I keep under my desk while I was Sparking. I decided that since it was Saturday morning, I would lay back down for awhile and watch TV before I started my day. So I watched a couple of Rachel Ray shows that I record. Then it was time to take my shower and get on with my day.
I had to go to Walmart to do some grocery shopping. My son wanted to stop by the University Store to pick up some supplies. So while he walked up to the store, I decided to do some walking in the parking lot. It turned out the store was close, so he joined me in my walking. Then off to Walmart. We always park far from the entrance. We got in more walking in Walmart.
Next I decided that I wanted to read one of the books I have on my new Kindle my son got me for Christmas. It's a Mary Higgins Clark book called, "Just Take My Heart." So, I went into my office and read my book while I was peddling on my mini cycle. I did that for about 20 minutes. Then I decided to lay down and elevate my feet while I continued to read. I ended up taking a 30 minute nap.
After my nap and before I fixed supper, I decided to do my WATP workout. My son was watching Dog the Bounty Hunter on the TV in the living room. So, I did my workout in his studio again. It was so funny. My youngest dog wouldn't leave my side when he saw me put my shoes back on. When I did my kicks, he moved behind me. Finally, he laid down on his pillow and watched me intently. He is just too cute. He has separation anxiety when I leave the house. Luckily, I work from home or he would be a basket case.
I feel great that I was able to get in so much exercise today. I did great at the store and got all healthy foods. I'm also proud of myself for getting in the WATP workout. When I told my son I wanted to do my workout, he said why do you need to. You did all that walking. You will be okay. I held strong and told him there was no way I was going to miss that workout. I know from past experience that if I miss a workout, I have a problems getting back on track. There is no way I'm not going to do my workouts every day. Normally, Sundays are my rest day, but I still plan on doing my workout. I am determined that this year is going to be the best year.

So, I got done working early today. I got in all my hours for the week at 5 p.m. today. My son was watching a Criminal Minds marathon on A&E when I got done work. I wanted to do my WATP workout. He has a big screen TV in his studio, which is really the dining area in this house that we rent. It's actually all one huge room, but I break it up by having my couch separate the rooms. The big screen TV is old and he actually found it along side the road where we used to live. The guy was throwing it out, because one of the connectors in the back was broke. It works great for him and his friends to play video games. Anyway, he set it up for me to do my WATP workout in the studio. It sure did seem weird seeing Leslie and all her friends on this big screen TV. I got in my workout. I noticed during the workout that I was keeping up with Leslie. In the past, I had to go a little slower because of my breathing. Now, my breathing is doing good and I kept up with no problems. It sure did make me feel great.
Our temperature got up to 68 degrees today. Yay! I took a couple of breaks from work this afternoon and took two walks down the road. I tried to my son to go with me, but he turned me down. So, armed with my cell phone, I walked down the road. I think each walk was only about a .25 of a mile, but I didn't want to take too much time out of work. The weekend is suppose to be in the high 60's as well. I will be taking longer walks this weekend, along with doing my WATP workout as well. I don't want to give up my WATP workout streak.
My eating is pretty good as well. I've been staying in my ranges. Sodium is still an issue for me, but I have been improving every day this week. Tonight I made a Spark recipe for meatloaf. It's called Easy Meatloaf Remix Recipe. Here's the link:
I did make a few changes to the recipe though. I used Progresso bread crumbs instead of the bread. I didn't have any onion, so I used dehydrated onion. Need to get some onions from the store, because I think it would be much better with fresh onion. It also calls for tomato sauce, but instead I just squirted about a tbsp of ketchup in it. It's very good. My son even loves it and that's say something. We had mashed potatoes and green beans with it. Well, I had the green beans. He doesn't like green beans.
Before I end, I also have to say that this is not all I'm doing. I am drinking 12 cups of water every day. Yes, I use the bathroom a lot. Drinking all your water every day does help to cleanse your sister. Let me ask you this, have you ever woke up in the morning with a headache or developed one in the afternoon? Well, it may be because you didn't have enough water. Yep! The first thing I do when I have a headache is to drink a glass of water. I rarely have headaches. When I do, I drink the water and usually after about 15 mind, give or take, it goes away.
Another thing that I have been focusing on for a while now is to give enough sleep at night. I make sure that I get 7 to 8 hours of sleep every night. Sometimes when I don't get enough sleep during the night, then I will take a little nap. I feel so much better when I get enough sleep.
Now it's time to relax and watch my Friday night CBS shows. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Once again, I want to thank everyone for commenting on my blogs and giving me so much support and encouragement. It really means so much to me. I got another great idea for my sweet potatoes. I do love them roasted.
Today has been another great day for me. I was busy with work all day. I did manage to get some peddling in throughout the day. I had two conference calls. So, while I was listening, I was peddling. When I had to do some talking, I stopped peddling. Then after work, I immediately did my WATP workout. It's now been 4 days in a row of WATP workouts. I really feel great knowing that I am accomplishing so much exercise in one day. I've gotten in a totally of 60 minutes. It's done in 10-20 minute increments right now. Once I get more weight off me, I should be able to do 30 minute increments. I've been doing workouts for awhile, but they have not been at the intensity and the length I'm doing them now.
Our temperatures are warming up again. Tomorrow, I will be adding walking outside. I heard that the warmer temps are going to go through next Tuesday. I will be walking every day that it's warm outside. I am looking forward to it. I miss my outdoor walks.
