On a day that is normally my day of rest, I continued my exercise streak. Besides the normal laundry and housecleaning, I did not one but two workouts. First, I decided that I would pop in a Richard Simmons workout. Mind you, I haven't done a Richard Simmons workout in years. This one was the 60's Blast Off workout. When it started playing, I was in shock. How in the world was I going to do this workout? It is so much more than the WATP workouts I've been doing. Well, I decided to give it a try, but I did it sitting in a chair. I did all the upper body movements, as well as moving my feet. Believe it or not, I did work up a sweat doing it this way. I will continue doing this workout once a week until I have built up my stamina a little more.
My second workout was the one mile WATP. I can already feel myself getting better doing this workout. I'm going to continue doing the one mile workouts for another two weeks. Then I am going to move on to the two mile workouts. I can tell my breathing is getting better during my one mile workout.
I want to thank everyone for the support and encouragement that you are giving me. It really means so much to me. I wouldn't be doing as well if it wasn't for all my wonderful Spark friends. Thank you all so very much!!!
