Need more exercise....

So I'm doing pretty great on my diet, staying within my calorie, fat, protein and carb range almost everyday but just not seeing the weight loss I'd like. Guess I'm going to have to figure out a way to get more exercise in....... why is there never enough time????

    Be sure to use a tape measure too....many times we don't realize how much we've lost because it doesn't show up on the scale. Muscle weighs more than fat.

If you still see nothing..I truly suggest a metobolic testing from a gym . I did it years ago and it gave me my basline of exactly how much I burn daily. Get a heart monitor and wear it 24 hours (this tells you the same thing) this gives you exactly what you are burning and heart rate.

Maybe you need to cut down by 100 calories for two weeks and see if there is a change ? Maybe you need to add more if you are burning a lot more calories than you think. Be sure to add weights because that made a big difference with me.

Week 2

So I am about 10 days into my Spark Journey v 2.0 and I have to say I'm feeling great. It is amazing how when you are eating well and getting even just a little bit of exercise you have so much more energy.

    Absolutely agree. I little bit of being healthy pays big dividends. It's crazy why we settle for unhealthy when we can actually feel good by making some simple changes.

First Weekend.....

Heading into my first weekend since back on Spark. Tonight I'm going out to PF Changs with the family but I already printed the nutritional info and have a game plan. Tomorrow and Sunday are swim meet days which is tough, lots of sitting. I'm packing my lunch and a healthy snack both days and will go to the gym first thing in the AM. Day 3

Today is the 3rd day being back on Spark. I'm not going to lie, day #3 is always a big turning point for me. I am so hungry the first 3 days and then miraculously on day #4 it gets a little easier. That being said, and having given up on day #3 many times before, I am hopeful that as I near the end of the day I will make it through to day#4.

    you have no choice ....cause you have spark spies spying on every spark decision you make!!! and cheering you all along the way!!! day 3 and 4-180 will work out...because this is a long journey bound to have a slip up or two..but consistency is not perfection....and my guess is you are like me and ready to use ALL you have learned these many years.... emoticon
