The Robins are back, had 4 in the back yard last night. Maybe we are going to have an early spring. We now have Redwinged Black Birds and Robins returning.
There seem to be more birds at the feeders so our feathered friends must know something we don't.
The sure are eating a lot, do not see any overweight birds so it must be the constant motion that burns up the calories, we should learn from them.

Heat Wave

We are about to have a heat wave, at least for us at this time of the year, mid 40's and up to mid 50's later this week.
Will not last but will enjoy the break and wish the people of Japan a speedy cleanup.

I find it hard to not grieve with the people of Japan. Will we ever know the true extent of this act of nature. I also wonder how the people in Libya are surviving. Off to Chicago to see the river dying and the Irish Parade.

Had a great time, a little cold watching the parade as the wind was coming off the lake. Parade lasted over 2:00 hours. We went to Glenview after to shop at an Irish store then for dinner at Hackney's an Irish restaurant, very good corned beef. Report Inappropriate Comment

Been a crazy week at the office, hopefully today goes smooth.
Off to Chicago by coach tomorrow to see the river dyed green and the parade.
Should be fun and lots of walking, just checked the weather and they are calling for rain showers, lets hope they are scattered.
