Praying for no snow today......

This is my fur grandson Joxer and he is such a pleasure to have in our family. Him and Grandma have a special relationship....he likes it when I pet and scratch his head.

Well, I think I will be off soon to finish Christmas shopping. Daughter and son in law are taking me to our favorite mall and spending the day with them is a real treat for me.

Started moving around furniture last night to fit the tree and a table into the living room, heavy stuff but if I don't do it no one does. Will finish when I get home today and then see if hubby will bring the tree and decorations up from the basement. Wish I could do stairs, I would do it myself. He is not the most pleasant man when it comes to Christmas....he is Scrooge. I had to go in debt to get presents and will be paying this off for months. Oh well, at least my kids and their families will have a good holiday.

Hello Joxer! Such a pretty cat! I have to do my last minute christmas shopping too but I am going to do it tomorrow. We got our tree last monday but its already dead lol it isnt taking any of the water at all so now we have a brown lookin tree that has to stay like that until christmas and then we gotta toss it, i'm so mad.. lol! Had some tests done today at the hospital....will hear soon I hope. A lot of my Christmas gifts I ordered came in this week and just a couple more due. Going shopping tomorrow with my DD and SIL to see if I can find hubby something. Gotta buy cards for family and see if I can find a new decoration for the house. I try to buy two or three new things a year now,, kids went through my stuff and took what they wanted and I am left with a lot less things, and love the excuse to add more.

Nice photos. We just decorated our tree tonight. My husband and I are dogsitting for him tomorrow night while he and his wife go to a party, so we had to put the breakable ornaments at the top. He's a great dog, but his tail can clear a table faster than anything I've ever seen. It all reminds me of baby proofing when the kids were little. It's been a long time since I've had to do that. The snow is so bright and clean looking. Tho I think there is more coming, right now the sun is shining. Gifts arriving at my door every day....so I am hiding them in a closet till the big day. Some are too large to wrap.....this will teach me to buy smaller things. They should be arriving the rest of this week and next. Some are probably at the post office and we can't get there till Saturday.

I slept most of last evening, not feeling well, I know its because of an UTI and that's all I need on top of the AR (acid reflux).

So taking it easy today and wait to hear that the doctor has called a prescription in for it yet.

Will work on the living room today....a little at a time, and maybe one of these days I will finally have it all done.

Well we have had a lot of snow, and so I kept busy here, I finally have my office half set up and today I will finish it. Will post a pic when done. Have to call Salvation Army to pick up a couple of chairs, then I will redo the living room, then we will have a place for Christmas dinner and a place for my big tree this year. Feeling good today and hope to hear from that new prescription soon, then I will feel even better. Can't wait. Being more careful of what I eat and that is helping some.


This is why my daughter doesn't put her large tree up, as soon as she does the cats fight to be the first to climb it...then it tips over......ain't cats fun...

Lazy Sunday....

Bought a small fake tree yesterday, that looked so real I had to smell it to be sure, brought it home, and put 100 lights on it and I love the way it looks.

Been a lazy day today and got caught up on some rest I really needed.

Daughter called and then about five minutes later her hubby called. He said she was very angry again and I just listened and tried to advice but all I could say was, I been living with someone like that for years, and she is her dad's daughter. Hope this gets better soon, before he gets tired of it and leaves.
