The holiday is over....huh?

Tuesday, July 06, 2010

I can't believe I made it through this weekend. Hubby off yesterday and it was really warm, but we went riding anyway.

Didn't do much, and tried to eat right, and I mostly did it. OK, I had a McDonalds apple pie....the only place with a drive through, and I needed food to take my meds....but I think I sweated that off going from the car to the stores and back.

We had a blast at the lake Sunday...lots of people and lots of food and fireworks. It was awesome. I even took my crafting with me and worked on some projects, I usually sit alone and just listen to the others, so it gives me time to do some work.

They had geese and ducks in the lake and I got to take pictures of them, I was so excited when I saw them there.

Well, lazy day today, catching up on little things, doing laundry, didn't realize everything needed it...this will keep me busy....but not too much.

I had an accident yesterday.....I ran over Cleo's tail with my chair....the poor thing howled so loud you would think it was her head......but then she let me check it out and it was ok, but now when I feed her, she stands way back and doesn't eat with her tail hanging out the back anymore...she finally learned to eat sideways....LOL

She didn't welcome us home yesterday, maybe she was still a little upset...loves that kitty.

    The lake party sounded wonderful!

I love geese and ducks. Our park has tons of them and even had a swan once. Sometime we get ducks on our pond.

Poor Cleo. I'm sure she will be more careful now.

A very good day.....

My son called today and the baby is a boy....it has a you know what.....LOL Son is such a proud papa to be. I am so proud of him, I thought of my two kids he would be the one to have problems but he proved me wrong. He is dealing with helping to raise and love the two sons of his fiancee, and now the new baby. He is a bit scared but loves the two boys and the new baby boy coming. He is working double shifts in the retail store he works at, just to help make ends meet. He is doing quite well, and they love him at this new store. I don't worry as much as I used to about him, but he will always be my baby, even at 25 and 6' 3" he definitly is a big one...LOL

I am making plans all ready. I hope to go to lots of garage sales and buy new and used things they can use. I will buy as much new as I can afford. I'm not sure where to start, but, I can't wait.

Feeling good today. Weigh in was still a stall,, but no gain is also good news. I took yesterday and today off from working on my craft,. and it felt good to just to take some time for me.

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY ALL MY FRIENDS.... emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

All very good news for you. I am so pleased. make a list of what you think the baby will need and then you will find it easier to search when you go to the sales.

What 8 hours of sleep can do.

Thursday, July 01, 2010

Well, I slept a full 8 hours and you were all right, I do need to slow down,. I'm not as young as I used to be and I do need to take better care of myself and rest more. I have a busy schedule ahead and I need to be ready for it. Doing an Autism event the 10th of July and it's outside and to help my cousin. Two of her grandbabies have it and I love helping them. I promise to rest more, eat more, good food, and be ready for it. Thank you all for caring and making me see the light, sort of.

Love you all. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

I don't know what is happening.....

I keep trying to work my crafts, but my hands shake so bad....this has never happened before. Not sure what is wrong, I feel tired all the time, and had very little appetite. Other than that I feel ok. Could be stress maybe, I worry all the time that I will run out of things at the festivals and fairs....I feel the need to sit for hours working, and am up most nights till 2 am working on them. Well, if this is it, I am not doing any more tonight....will see if that helps, and going to bed earlier. I just hope this stops, I hate feeling this way. My back is killing me, but that is normal...see you all tomorrow, emoticon

You are exhausted! Get some rest and see how you feel. If there isn't any improvement, see your doctor!
Feel better soon.

yes you definitely need to rest and relax your body, I think going to bed early is a good idea, just take a break from work and you will see that the rest will help you a lot more since you will be more focused when you are well rested!

DIAMONDFOOLER 7/1/2010 9:02AM

You DO have enough things for the festivals. AND what is worse than running out? If you sell out of what you have, then you have much more money for Cathy's Hope.
Remember, this is your gift, not an obligation.
We get into a very disabled situation when we let other things control us. Don't let your joy in working on the items turn bad.
Take time to do other things, or nothing. But get more rest. Stress is awful. It eats at us all the time, so you need to calm yourself. See if you can go somewhere, maybe to a beach this weekend and don't take anything except a book to read....

I am glad you took a break and went to bed. Sounds like everyone above is giving you some great advice. You are taking care of everyone else first it seems, and you should be at the top of your list. You are so worth being tended to sooooo I am glad you left your projects and went to bed! Take care friend!!

You will burn yourself out if you continue in this way. Please stop this and reduce your work hours drastically or you will end up being able to do nothing at all. Your health has to come first.

First, the picture of the cat is priceless.

Secondly, take care of the obvious first. Rest, nourishment, slow down a bit. If that doesn't fix anything...

Doctor time (not trying to be an alarmist) but it may be something that will only show up quickly through the experienced eyes of an MD. AND it may be something very simple to fix (we all hope).

Want you to be around for a long time. Please take care of yourself first, jewelry second. Take care!

First are you getting enough water and food? Second you need to rest. Third you need to start with a couple of deep breaths, then begin. Get a good nights rest.

God Bless.
