October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month.
The first step in breast health is awareness. Education is
important, there are just as many fallacies as truths out there
so use a reliable source. Here are a few:

Breast cancer is the second most commonly diagnosed cancer
in women. The biggest risk factors are being female and aging.
Contrary to popular belief heredity plays only a small role, with
only 5 - 10% of breast cancer cases being inherited, commonly through the
BRCA1 or BRCA2 genes.
There are many thing you can do to decrease your risk. Among them self
examinations, diet, exercise, and envirnmental changes.
