No word on my daughter yet, we don't talk every day, but I will be spending time with her this week, 3 days with her and the family, and then I am sitting with the fur babies while they take a mini vacation to celebrate her birthday on Monday. I will let you know when I do.

Goddess Bless you all.

I will pray for your daughter here. May it be nothing more then an infection and all that she needs is antibotics. Hugs. I hope she and you get answers soon. There is nothing worse then being in the dark about this.

My baby came home.

Thursday, October 04, 2007

My fur baby Cleo is home and doing great, she is sleeping a lot and eating, even likes my Low Carb cheese danish and I will let her have anything she wants. When I got to the vets today they said she was a little cranky...guess she lived up to her name"Cleocatra...." I feel better and having a good day with my baby home.

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Wednesday, October 03, 2007

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month.

The first step in breast health is awareness. Education is
important, there are just as many fallacies as truths out there
so use a reliable source. Here are a few:

www.komen.org
www.stopbreastcancer.org
www.cancer.org

Breast cancer is the second most commonly diagnosed cancer
in women. The biggest risk factors are being female and aging.
Contrary to popular belief heredity plays only a small role, with
only 5 - 10% of breast cancer cases being inherited, commonly through the
BRCA1 or BRCA2 genes.

There are many thing you can do to decrease your risk. Among them self
examinations, diet, exercise, and envirnmental changes.
