Hubby still bringing in things I shouldn't eat, how do I get him to stop.....not sure why when he knows it bothers me and I have admitted I have no will power. Why does he tempt me with it.

I feel for you with your hubby, I really do. I left my spouse of 18 years in 2005 and he did that for many years too - bring me home Dairy Queen blizzards and KFC for dinner - oh yeah, that helped! No matter what I said to him, he still did it. I learned that he did that because that's what he "thought" would help me to cheer up, feel better, etc. not at all what I needed!

A couple of suggestions to try, although I know it's going to be hard as HE**.... don't eat what he brings or say, "you know, that's not helping me feel better at all, but is making me feel sicker" because that's what it's doing. You eat, you feel guilty, you eat some more. No help is it?

My new b/f is supportive and won't even eat anything that I don't want in the house even if he wants it because he knows that weight loss is important to me.

Woke up very sick this morning, coughing and sneezing and tightness in chest. I am prone to geting pneumonia but does he care, no. He has a stomach ache and he is home going to the doctors. I don't dare say anything about not feeling well, he just doesn't hear me. Oh well, will restand take meds and pray I get better.
