Getting Back in the Game

The last 5 weeks were really hectic, but I'm back in the game. I had so much going on that I gained a few pounds. I was a few pounds away from the heaviest I've ever been. Things have settled down a lot so I'm getting back in the flow of things. I've been eating way better, and been doing my exercises. I'm actually down some pounds, and that feels great. I'm getting really motivated. I know this is so cliche but the boy and I are going on a cruise, so we decided we are going to work our asses off (quiet literally). He promised me that if he loses weight he will go down the water slide. We are helping each other stay motivated.


Very First Weigh-In

Last week I didn't do my weigh-in because I'm a big klutz and fell down causing me to tear a ligament in my shoulder. I couldn't really exercise to much, so I decided to skip it until my arm started feeling better. So today was my very first weight-in! And I am down 3 pounds! I was starting to feel a little lazy today until I weighed myself and saw that I lost 3 pounds. It really gets me motivated when I start seeing little results.

Yay! for losing some pounds! emoticon

    emoticonSeeing the #s drop on the scale is a huge motivator. My other favorite motivators are feeling the change in my clothes and exercising when I don't want to. I always feel great experiencing any of these things. Good for you!

Feeling Good!!

I've only just joined a gym a week ago, and I can already tell a difference. Besides losing a pound, which is great, I'm feeling better. I actually want to get up in the mornings and do something. Even if I don't reach my goal, at least I will have more energy, and feel like I'm doing something for myself. I'm feeling goooooooood! emoticon

    Yep, yep! I was on the elliptical this morning thinking about how much better I feel in general. Just challenging and caring for my body makes me wonder why I didn't figure this out sooner???

    It's funny how the gym can do that! I still have days where I'm like "ugh, I don't want to go", but when I do, I feel even BETTER! Keep it up!
