I been so motivated with all my sparkpeople friends. I don't do much writing but I do read a lot love all the motivation. This was Sunday morning at the Peter Canyon in orange California. With my big son Andrew. I never new that hiking was so fun is a hard workout but at the end I feel so accomplish.

These things take no time at all but they all could ensure a positive day and a healthier lifestyle. How many of these do you or can you do in a day? What other things can you add to the list?

Whatever you choose to do, make your day healthier and happier. If you can, do the same for someone else too, because, after all, itís about a healthy lifestyle!

I feel like i am losing motivation :( But QUITING IS NOT AN OPTION FOR ME!!!!

    One thing that helps me is if I feel like I want to eat something really bad or just say forget it, I go weigh myself. It helps remind me of the weight I lost and what it took me to get here...And I realize I don't want to do it again! That and if you force yourself to work out, you will feel so good after it will get you back in the groove! emoticon

    No it isn't, you have come this far, keep at it!.

Have you tried making a cork board of motivation? It's what I did and it really helps, if you need some ideas I can show you mine. Are you sharing your goals and accomplishments with someone else?.

All of these things add to the motivation, you can do it!

Why is it when I weight myself and it shows that I lost weight but the next day after eating relatively normal food, and I weight myself it says I went up between 1-3lbs??????

    There are a few things that could happen. I have weighted myself daily to find out which days were lower than others, usually Thursday/Friday are for me. I have stopped weighing in daily and now is mostly once a week or 2x week.
If you eat a dinner that has quite a bit of sodium or more than it did the day before the scale showed a loss, it could be that the extra sodium intake is making you hold water and thus weigh more. Also, you probably are already doing this but weighing at the same time every day for consistency works.
The reason why I stopped weighing in myself daily is because of those sudden changes that would then affect my mood even though I thought I ate well the scale wouldn't agree, which is why I think it's better to only hop on the scale a couple of times a week max.
