Surgery and School

Wednesday, September 23, 2009

Well, I think I am pretty much recovered from my surgery. There is still a little discomfort at times, but I think it's all good now. Which is nice after the whole bladder not working ordeal... you want pain? try having to pee and not being able to...Oye!...
So now I'm back at school comfortably. 200 hundered of my 600 hours will be completed by the end of this week. I should be pimping myself out for a job by the first of the year! Woo-Hoo! I can't wait.

Mine needs a little lift to tell the truth but at my size it is hard to find an office to accommodate me :(

Glad to hear things are moving along

Life

Sunday, August 30, 2009

Well, the past month or so has been crazy. The computer died so I haven't been able to play online, we had company from California in, i quit my job and am going back to school, both the kids started back to school (one in Jr High), and life has just been busy, busy.

Anyhow, now the company is gone, kids are adjusted to school, I start school tomorrow, and the computer is back on line. I can get back to Sparking and getting in better shape so I can enjoy my life longer!

What a great article and how wonderful to be helping with such a program. A friend of mine took her son to therapeutic riding before he passed away and said it was a great help. I recently sold my horses to a counselor that is opening therapeutic riding opportunities in our areas. He has told me I can see my horses or ride when I want, maybe I'll see if he needs any volunteers. Thank you for being such a motivational part of Spark.

Sorry I have been gone so long. I have been sooo busy with the house buying process, work, and the ranch. And a few personal medical issues that I think are now resolved.

Can I have some cheese with my whine?

Tuesday, April 28, 2009

I'm fat, lazy, and unmotivated. Blech. I sleep at least 12 hours a day, I have no exercise routine, and I'm lucky if I eat 1 meal a day. This has got to stop! I have plenty of time to exercise in the morning, If I get my ass out of bed and stay awake instead of going back to sleep after the kids get on the bus. I'm really letting myself go and it has got to stop, for my physical and emotional health.

So... Tomorrow is another day, and I will stay awake and do some exercise and clean the house an other things normal people do.

Enough is enough!

You sleep 12 hours a day? Wow, I am jealous. I have to get up at like 5:30am and go til about 7:30pm at work before getting home to correct papers and stuff (I am a teacher). You just have to find a new motivation. Find something that will tire you out so that you don't feel guilty about sleeping.

You go back to bed after getting the kids on the bus? I almost laughed out loud. That shouldn't be happening, silly! Go for a walk, drink some coffee, do some cleaning! I didn't realize people actually went back to bed after the kids went to school. I never thought about it. Probably because I was already at school.

Try to get and keep yourself motivated. Decide small goals for each day. I think too much sleep is what is making you more lazy/unmotivated. Maybe start some sort of project around the house to get you going.

Just my .02

Housework burns about 200 calories an hour, if that helps. ;)

I'm working on starting the healthy habits myself, so I know how discouraging it can be to look over all the things you've been doing "wrong." Sending good thoughts and support your way.
