I spoke with my sister last night and the prognosis for my brother-in-law isn't good. The brain cancer is very aggressive and they give him 3 weeks to 2 months to live. My sister (and the rest of my family) live 1500 miles from me, so I asked her if she wanted me to come now, but she'd rather I be there when he passes for the funeral. (Airfare is very expensive and I can't make the trip twice in such a short time.) She has three grown children that live very close by, so she's not alone during this time. Thank God for telephones so I can show support in some way.
I wasn't planning on that extra blog last night, but had to do something to occupy my mind. My brother-in-law was just diagnosed with brain cancer and my head was reeling. He's been sick for a few years with COPD, now this. My sister is beside herself. So thanks for taking time to read the blog and enjoy the photos.
