Here I will log my exercises for the week of Saturday Feb 6 until Sunday Feb 14 (ok its slightly more than a week....)
Saturday - 46min Run, Stretching, Wall pushups and Squats, 8.5 hours of sleep
Sunday - 3+ hours cleaning the house, 2 hours with 7 girls doing crafts,
Sunday's Goal - 30min of Yoga - Did 60min including Wii Fit Yoga
Monday - 9K run, 15+min Stretching
Has a DEAD pedometer! So adjusting to life with no watch....
Tuesday - 1.8km Walk, Strength Training
Wednesday - 5km Walking, 4.7km Run, Stretching, 45min Skating
Thursday- 1.2km Walking
Went to the Olympic Torch Relay Celebration with my family.... Over 2 hours of standing much of it with a 40lb kid in my arms. My legs were sore from Wednesday activities so gave them a break
Friday- Exercise Bike
Saturday - 46min Exercise Bike, Stretching, Situps and Squats,
Sunday - 1 hours cleaning the house, 1.5 hour walk/run, Stretching
It was a great week - so I'll give myself a trophy!

The last few weeks -- since Christmas I have been struggling.... to stay motivated, to eat healthy and keep going.... I know I can do it, I do enjoy exercise but have been sidetracked by a slight overuse injury, sick kids and fatigue... I know I've done well hitting some major milestones since Christmas, but I need to keep going, I need to keep healthy and keep exercising. I think the January Bootcamp Challenge was great, but I think it may have been too much with the strength training and my usual 1+ hour of cardio 5x a week... So time to come up with a much more workable plan.
To many it may not seem that I have been off track, but I feel like I have! And that is what counts. Time to stop this before any weight comes back....
To regroup, this week I took this week easy.
I only walked, no running... but I have logged 35.1km which meets my goal for the week! I didn't do any strength training either.
I headed to bed early. And I will again tonight.
I watched what I ate. And was within my calories all week, but sometimes over or under on protein, carbs or fat. But averaged over the week I did fine.
I bought a pair of skinny boot cut jeans, size 9 for $10!!! Not only another pair of pants that fit, but at that price it doesn't matter if they don't fit in 2 months!
What am I doing starting tomorrow?
I will continue to eat healthy. And work on getting my protein in range (I have less problems with fats & carbs)
I will start running again this week. I am going to map out a "flat" route near the school to get in my runs. And if its wet, so I drive the kids to school, I will probably drive either to the lake trail, or out to the farm and run the dikes. I will run a minimum of 3 times a week, with other cardio if I can't get in my runs for a total of 5 days of cardio. No running for me coming up on Friday as the kids are off school.
I have an 8K run in 4 weeks and my goal is to RUN the 8K in under 56minutes.
I will start back with my strength training. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays
I will add yoga back in on Sundays
I can do this, I can get back on track. Goal weight -- hear I come!
And to get myself motivated I'm setting a reward! Next weekend is Valentine's Day and a friend of mine and her son are coming over to see an Olympic event -- they have offered to watch the kids on Valentine's Day so I can head out for dinner with my husband! So I am going to get myself a nice dress or skirt!

My headache is gone, but still not 100%. I got a good sleep last night.
I did go for two walks today with my 4yo... one to school and back and another at a park with a friend. Its a beautiful day and great to enjoy this mild winter day.
I am still working hard to eating well and drinking my water. Its one day at a time....

I am trying to stay motivated. I have a headache again - it started yesterday after a poor sleep the previous night due to an early morning and bad dreams. Last night I fell asleep on the couch but didn't sleep well due to dreams.... So although I slept for nearly 8 hours, I think a good quality 6 hour sleep would have felt better.
So what am I doing?
-- Eating Healthy, this is hard because I want to snack... No grocery shopping for me today as I would buy all the wrong foods. I don't really have any bad foods in the house, so that helps...
-- Got out for a morning walk with friends, didn't run but the walk felt great
-- Walked the kids to & from school, the fresh air felt great
-- I'd try and catch a nap today, but the kids have early dismissal again-- Early dismissal should be banned! It interrupts my day!
- I will get out for another walk.
- I will eat a healthy dinner.
- I will get to bed early tonight.
And tomorrow will be a better day!

For the past few weeks I have been busy making my older daughter's dance outfit.... She is moving up to Beginner for Highland Dancing and needs an additional costume now. Given the smile on her face - I think she likes it!
