Today I found an old fortune cookie that I had saved. It read:
Your life will be happy and peaceful.
I really liked this one and saved it. My life hasn't always been happy and peaceful. Right now it is calm. The stress level right now is very low. But I will strive for happy and peaceful. I find that if I commit to 10 minutes of fitness a day, it usually leads to longer exercise sessions. Being 58 I can't compete with the younger crowd. Though I sure do try. I love doing Jillian Michaels and Cathe Friedrich. I also love kickboxing. But I find that my recovery takes more than a day. I get really sore in the abs, and it takes 4 days to recover! I am doing recumbent biking, and I make myself stay on the bike for 60 minutes. I am going to try and walk a mile in the morning after I get home from work. My legs are strong, I have to work on my upper body strength. Maybe I will do some strenth training on Tuesday. We will see.
