Bike mode

I am about to break out my bike. Riding outside for the first time in a long time. The traffic where I live is kind of heavy and I am going to go exploring for bike lanes. My walking and running is really irritating my Achilles heel injury. I have all the gear ready. Helmet, gloves, gps watch and of course sunscreen!

I have had such a week that made it impossible for me to workout. I plan on riding Thursday, if nothing comes up. Wish me luck!

I know riding everyday will make me used to the traffic, and people yelling things at me. Why do people have to be so mean? emoticon

    I love riding my bike, I go out very early before the traffic starts. I think I would get a bike rack and check out some safe bike trails. You be very careful out there. emoticon

    I just put a hitch on my car yesterday so I could but a bike rack on it.

felt like a weakling today

I felt like a weakling at work today. We had to move some bundles of newspaper, and half way through the night, I felt my an ache in my shoulder. I don't usually feel any aches at work. But I have laid off exercising all month. I have totally ignored my strength dvd's. I used to love to do them. Well, last night just made me feel angry at myself. I have no real excuse for not exercising, just not feeling right and just feeling lazy!

So, today I went at it with renewed energy. I did a lot of strength and cardio. I know I am going to be sore for days, but it will all be worth it. If I am super sore, I will get on the bike. If not I will do some more JM dvd's. I hate JM, but I love her too! I will get strong again.

    That happens to me too, I love doing cadio, but I still don't like doing the strength. I know I have to do it, just wish I could find some kind of a strength program I like. I do what I need to do because if I don't I feel like a weakling too. emoticon emoticon

Healthiest thing you do

I hadn't felt very sparkly for the past week. No exercising for one week! I saw this motivational poster this morning and it helped me turn things around. I took Daisy the wonder dog out for a 2 mile walk. It felt good to be out in the morning sunshine and break a sweat.

I haven't been feeling well lately. I stopped taking a certain medication and I feel a lot better. It was giving me vertigo, back aches and really tired. It is out of my system, and I am back to exercising.

Jump roped and took Daisy for a walk. Weekends are not a good time for me to exercise. I have to go to work early and it is physically harder than the rest of the week. But, I am going to try and at least get on my bike on the weekends.
