i seem to have been asked this question a lot lately about what keeps me motivated????

if you can answer these questions truthfully everyday(below)...............there is no other option.............i just keep plodding along ..............i am treating this like a part-time job..................with pay of course(the pay is the weight loss).....................one last thing to is all the wonderful people here on sparkpeople,from the sparkguy,the coaches,the teams.the leaders and the many great friends and all the blogs i have read.....its everybody here that keeps me going everyday............without any of one them,this journey would taken a much different path...............for that i'm truly grateful .................

Desire: What exactly do you want?
Defense: Are you prepared for the temptations that are bound to come your way?
Dedication: How hard are you willing to work?
Determination: How long are you willing to keep working?
Decision-Making: Are you willing to take total responsibility for the choices you make?

    Lita,

I LOVE your 5'D's of The Weight Loss Journey!! It really makes you realize that you have to cut through everything...get down to brass tacks...If we want it, then we have to work for it!! Very thought provoking!!

Reading your blog, just increased my motivation even more! I just wrote it all down for as Lita's 5'D's, which I plan to read out loud to myself every morning, and ten times a day if need be! It is a great reminder that it all starts with US!

well along awaited appointment with the dietician took place yesterday..........brought in several days of tracking my nutrition........she was very impressed with sparkpeople and how well they can track things................i am alwasys learning and i sure learned a lot about proteins and other nutrients............so am on a new plan for 3 weeks............limiting proteins to at least 60.........and she helped me tweak the diet a bit better making a more balenced daily intake...........and total calories to 1500/1600 daily and see how that will go..................fine tuning things is a very important part of nutrition ..........on monday will start with a trainer to fine tune things there as well................so am looking froward to see what she comes up with...........blessings and hugs.....................lita

    That is an awesome idea to bring your Sparkpeople tracked info in to your physician. I love the nutrition tracking especially. It keeps my honest and has opened my eyes so I can make wiser choices. Good luck with the adjustments, I know you'll do well.

this last week is almost over and i feel we have done a great job with this sparkpeople class...............thanks in part to my co-leader..............with out her i could not have managed these numbers by myself..............i guess i didn't really have an expectation so perhaps that made it easier somehow once the shock wore off in seeing the numbers over 13.000 new members in one week.................then i think of the leaders you had over 50,000 new members and i'm so blessed....................thanks again Pauline(foodfromafar) and to all the members of this great team...................the class of march 16-22 ...............YOU ALL ROCK!!..........blessings and hugs to all...............LITA

the last few weeks have been consumed with preparing for the new spark class,which i'm helping co-lead................today is the second day and it has been overwhelming to say the least with all new people join our class.....................just hope we can keep up to the numbers of people coming so quickly...................it has been a joy and exciting to see all the new poeple full of their own excitement in their discovery of the sparkpeople site................
its inspiring to see everyone so enthuisiastic,lets hope all of us at sparkpeople can keep their fires burning successfully so that they may reach those positive changes they desire..............blessings and hugs to all.....................lita
