well here we are at the end of july,time sure flies,when you are busy............my weightloss is 0,this week,a bit discouraging to say the least in view of all am doing,none the less must continue and not loose site of the goals ahead............i guess this is the fork in the road,and i have to make sure i stay on course or loose all i've been working for......................i will stay strong and not give up...................i know if others can do it.....................so too can i...................lita

This happens along the way. Don't panic. If you are doing everything right, your body, does have to adjust. I have had many stalls and I just had to believe right through them. Hang in there you can make it.

    Hey Lita! Keep your head up! Do you mind if I stick my nose in where it doesn't belong? What does your current program consist of? What sort of cardio/strength exercises do you do? How is your eating? How many calories do you eat? :)

well another week has gone by,weight loss down a pound.i am continuing on the same pattern with the exercise and diet ..........have read so many inspiring blogs,makes me feel like i can do it too................sure make my difficulties seem rather small compared to some others................once again ,i am awed by others and their accomplishments and for some monumental acheivements!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! keep the momentum going !!!!!!!!!!lita

    Lita, you are doing great. Don't be discouraged, part of the journey to a healthier lifestyle is learning new healthier habits. Slow and steady wins the race. You know what you are doing to get were your going, some people are just taking different routes and detours. In the end they may get to their goal but have they learned a healthy way to get there and stay at their final goal with healthy habits that they will be able to maintain? Remeber one day at a time, because every day brings on a new challenge.

well,with all the work in the pool that i was doing ....i expected a better weight loss(last 3 wks only lost 1/2-lb/week)even bumping it up a notch did not budge it either,so decided to try something else..........i joined the "calorie cycling "team and learned lots and lots and still don't understand it all and they plus the help of a dietician,started to eat differently and now the scale shows the changes ..........only started this past wednesday and on my weight-in day i'd lost 1-lb to my amazement..............needless to say i'm thrilled..................hugs to all..........lita

i have a date for surgery aug 13/07...(artroscopic ) to both knees...in order to prepare for the surgeryi have bumped up my exercise regime up a notch........am in the local pool 6 days/wk--2 hours at a time.......my surgeon says that every pound lost removes 7 pounds of weight to the knees.....in the pool i have greater mobility and less pain and therefore taking less medication as a result and am slowly losing weight...am also doing strenght training to help me and i walk using a cane ,my stamina is not too good on land versus water...these days i'll take what i can get.....hugs to all.........lita
