So yesterday I was trucking along with my healthy little day, and then major stress hit and I stumbled and landed on some poundcake.. Now I have started reading the articles on emotional eating and stressful eating. Still even after the stress is starting to lift I pass by something obviously bad for me and proceed to eat all of it. AHHH but there is an upside! Usually when this happens, I am set back for like weeks. TOday I am trucking again because I realized that it was a mistake and not a set back. But back to the original point, how do I avoid that slip up in the first place?

So yesterday I decided that I was going home for my highschool reunion. I have a month. I figured it was motivation to really step it up for a bit. Its not that I want to look like I did then to impress, but I want go to in there with a little more confidence. I really feel that if I make that step and have that confidence it will put my motivation in to high gear and I will take off! NOw on to the treadmill. I am on day 3 at 40 minutes if I can keep this up through Saturday I am going to have nails done on Sunday. i need a rewards for next week.. Any ideas?

Today I am going weigh myself for the first time in a while. I havent weighed myself in like a month. I have a fear of the scale b/c i will see progress with in myself, and then i m devestated to see that i havent even lost a pound. I have decided that it is ok though,, b/c now after being on this site I am learning that losing weight is not the key. Being healthy and feeling good about yourself is. Aaaahhh but i still need to fit in that dress so maybe a little wegiht loss too. I will let you know the results tomarrow .

    The scale is not the only method of tracking your progress. Consider getting a tape measure to measure yourself - waist, neck, thigh and so on! That is what will really show you your true progress.

    The scale should be a helpful tool of measurement and thats it!! Don't give it more power than it really needs!! If anything get mad at it and go take your frustration out in some cardio lol I do!!

I skipped a day in my tracking. It was fathers day and we were out all day. He wanted to eat at the olive garden and couldnt pass it up. But today is a new day and a new week, and my goal is to do 40 minutes a day on the treadmill for six days. Easily attainable. well its off to run my million errands i have panned for the day. Everyone have an awesome week and TOGETHER we can do this!

Wow five days in a row. I just cant make streaks last this long without messing up somewhere.. I lasted a Friday night at work. today is always the biggest challenge b/c i will be there from open to close. However I am bringing lots of snack and lots of water!!! And Happy Fathers day to and daddy out there!!
