Going to the park

My daughter has been at daycare the last two days, so today I get to spend the whole day with her and we are going to the park!! i love watching her run around and throw the pines straw and swing,, makes me feel like a kid too..


I skipped my workout with the trainer, i am going to go on my own later to the gym, but I could not wake up this morning,, and my body hurts from two days in a row of his training...but i realized today that i have real muscles in my legs,, no really they are real!!! Like when i was a cheerleader,, I was the girl who lifted everyone, and I ran track and played softball, so I was actually a little fit athlete back in the day.. How do you let it go that bad though when you grow up?? That's the point of being an a adult is the whole responsibility thing,, and yet i wasn't responsible enough to keep myself healthy and fit until I was faced with motivation that I could not turn away from...,, ahh but that is all in the past, b/c i am going to keep this weight off,, and then some.

In about a week I will be taking a month hiatus for the wedding, so today I just want to thank all of my spark buddies for all the encouragement and comments, and goodies, that i get everyday,,,they really help to keep me going, and it means so much to know that we can be so supportive, with only words on pages and no person to actually meet, some of us dont even have friends we shake hands with on a daily basis who are as supportive,,,if i could, you could all come to the wedding, but I am pretty sure the caterer and my budget would say no,,, so have some thanks instead!!

The days events

Its has been a good day in Kelly land.

Met with my trainer today, and did not even get tempted at work with the DBL fudge devils food cake made for a birthday,,, ok tempted, but not one bite!

Picked up my dress today ,, it is so beautiful!!! I first got it bunched up in a bag that was shipped from Australia, so this week I had it cleaned and pressed, and now it looks real! We also got our marriage license today. It is really happening,, 25 days.

I have decided the day before the wedding to take some in progress pics,,, now that I am willing to wear a two piece...

Tomarrow i will meet with the trainer for the 3rd in a row,, so pray that my abs and every other body part make it,,,, emoticon emoticon emoticon

About the weekend

I made no progress this weeknd. Sunday was my fiancees birthday, and it ended being a whole weekend of doing stuff. I meant to be out on Sunday but not Friday night and Saturday,, So yes, i wll be a little harder on my self this week, b/c the wedding shower is this weekend,,, I tell you what all of the wedding things get in the way of trying to be at the gym everyday, and eat properly.. However I think I can say that have adopted the lifestyle i want. I just have to learn to not over do it so much during special occaisons, or holidays, and so on..


So that is about the weekend. this week we are moving on, I have a trianing appointment, and I downlaoded the Spark app that helps you pick out the right produce, so my trip to the grocery store today will involve lots of fruits and veggies.. I think i am going to love this app. It tells you how to pick out the right one at the store, it tells you how to store it, and then it has a ton of fruit and veg based recipes...

Goals

Yesterday I bought a bottle of wine, with the goal of drinking 3 glasses, and giving the last glass to my fiancée,, yeah I know, i'm a good person. The reason I celebrated was because I hit a new goal. Now don't get me wrong I am so happy that i have toned and lost weight, but this goal was sticking with everything for 7 solid days. I managed to workout, drink all of my water, basically stay under my calorie goals, eat all my fruits and veggies, and stretch. I have been doing really well at this, but usually for 5 or 6 days.

My next goal is the 135 mark, i already had my nails done for the wedding, even though I am still 2 lbs. from that goal. My next reward is going to a Dave matthews concert. i havent seen him in 5 years. He sings the song "Crash", which is an amazing song if you have never heard of it, and its the song I will be walking down the aisle to. i havent been 135 since I moved to the ATL 9 years ago.. i moved to Georgia and the convenience of having a pizza hut at arms length coupled with a college girl drinking with her buddies made the pounds pack on quicker than I can drink a jager bomb, lol..

Anyway its not just the weight loss goals that i have been accomplishing , but so much more, i now have a routine to my day, i am now making sure i get certain things done everyday, and i have Sparkpeople to thank for that... Alright time to work on my next goal, because my trainer says that today we are doing a fat shredder workout... Everyone enjoy the weekend and be active!!! emoticon emoticon emoticon

The only thing I truly want to do is crawl back into bed for a few hours,,,,, but I can't.

I have so much to do today. i have to go to the dress laterations place, pay the flower lady, buy cufflinks for the groomsmen, finish buying all of the small things for the wedding,,, meet with the trainer, clean a few rooms in this house (the dust bunnies are seriously on the nerves), and the list goes on.

I am starting getting super excited, anxious , nervous,, and its not keeping me too mindful on my eating, its actually causing the opposite affect of what usually happens to me. And that is i just wasn't hungry yesterday. i made myself eat but I couldn't even hit the goal for the calories,, and i know i need to eat especially on days that I am doing my workouts witht the trainer. So today i have planned 3 real meals,,, I just need the time to eat them!!!!

Well off to have breakfast,,, everyone have a wonderful Hump day!
