Yeah about yesterday....

Wednesday, February 23, 2011

So the dress fitting went well, but I will keep up the workouts, b/c I want my back to start toning up a little bit,,, as for the rest of day......

Have ever had one thing take too long, and then the next thing on your list take too long? K ,, well that was my entire day,, now my list for today is even longer. Ahhh, but the better part is I dont have anyone with me today, so this can be accomplished.

Yeah, i was a little bad yesterday. I took a friend to help me into my dress, and I bought lunch and what was supposed to be one drink turned into two and some nasty,,, fried deliciously sinful appetizers.

But I m not upset like i used to get at myself.. i need a day out with a friends, and I will attempt to make u p for it over the next few days,,,

Ok so to the treadmill I go and then watch out invitations, I am about to kick your butt!

Yeah for the dress fitting! I try to look at the calories for a week at a time, and if I hit the middle most of the week, one day isn't going to blow it too badly. It's when the week is mostly out of whack that I get into trouble. We have to find a balance, especially if this truly is a lifestyle change.

You are doing so well with the exercising! I am really proud of your efforts there! emoticon

The closer it gets.

Tuesday, February 22, 2011

The closer the wedding gets the more I have to do during the day. Today I am going to the venue to discuss all the details with the owner. After that I am going to work out, tan, and then go shopping for all of my dress accessories, and Bridesmaid presents, and then I will have a formal fitting. After that i have to pick up ava , make dinner, and then start making out invitations( I have 125 to make). And the list for tomarrow is even longer,,,, who wants to do this for me??

Yesterday my trainer made us workout so hard, that one of the girls got sick. Now thats not normal is it? Even for a boot camp kind of work out? I managed. I like burning the fat, but not enough to get sick from working out. And I am sore today....It was all about legs today. so instead of running today , I am playing with the hula hoop, and then I am trying out another yoga class with a friend..

I like the yoga classes but I like all of the other things I am doing to, and I really want like a routine, but I have so many options now, its ridiculous, and I want to incorporate all of them.. Whats a girl to do,, Well everyone enjoy national margarita day!!!

I know what you mean! During the summer I wish I had time to swim, bike, run, and weight train every day! I was so glad I only had to write little over 80 invitations, and my family took care of the announcements while I was on my honeymoon :-)

I've heard of people working out so hard they get sick (especially with swimming). I've had a few classes where I thought I was going to pass out, but that is becuase of poor ventilation in the class room. Maybe she started working out too soon after eating? There can be lots of factors contributing to making someone sick. If it was one person, maybe she was just pushing harder than everyone else. Who knows!

Yippie!!!!!! My dress fits!!

Monday, February 21, 2011

So yesterday, I was picking out dresses for my honeymoon, and rehearsal dinner, and other happy events. I decided that first I should try on the ones hidden deep in the "doesn't fit" section of my closet. To my astonishment they all fit. So I decided to try on the wedding dress just for kicks.

I have been putting off a fitting of the dress, b/c I thought it wouldnt even come close to fitting my mid section. I was originally going to wait until like two weeks before the wedding because I didnt want to feel like failure. So I put the dress on and OMG it fits!!!!!! Woo HOO!!!

Now I could obviously not strap up the corset back, and I am missing all the extras that go under the dress, but the point is the dress fit, and I have 2 months left! I might even have to have it taken in!! so tomorrow I am going to buy all the extras and we are going to have a formal fitting..

I just can't believe the progress I have made in only a few months of working out. Its not that I have been adhering to a strict diet, and I have had many weak moments. But the working out has really launched my fat into a burning process, and I couldnt be more thrilled....Yea me!!!!

The Exercise Ball

Friday, February 18, 2011

I have a pretty good collection of exericse gadgets and thingamabobs. In fact, I have just about a complete home gym. I have a weighted hula hoop, a treadmill, resistance bands, yoga mat, weights, and videos. Then there is the exercise ball.

This is the largest exercise ball I have ever seen. My soon to be mother in law gave it to me. I tried it several times and realized I just don't like the thing. So here it is upstairs taking up a ton of space. Until yesterday.

So yesterday my 2 year old sneaks upstairs and proceeds to roll the ball downstairs. So I decide to let her play with it. I don't know how the thing ended up outisde but when we went out to ply we used that things for everything, we bounced and kicked and rolled and chased. So much so , I think I lost a few calories.

So back now to the main point. give all of the exercise equipment a chance because there is a use for it somewhere!!!

Oh it all hurts again..

Thursday, February 17, 2011

Pretty sure I over did it yesterday. I have started tanning to look a little dark for the wedding, and I am confident I burned myself. Also I went to the gym and did hula hoop with a friend, and now I sore in new spots.

So if you watch me come down the stairs I look like an old lady without her cane!!

To top it off, my throat has been swollen for days, and I am praying i don't have strep or something that will prevent me from working out and ruining the mojo..

Today I have to work a DBL at my job, and we will see how I feel. I am going to hop on the treadmill before I go to work.
