Just finished on the treadmill for 40 minutes. I am now swearing by mindless games on the Ipod, to take my mind off of how long I should be on. I start playing and then realize i was on longer than expected!. Work will be tough. Its fathers day weekend, and I work at a restaurant so temptation and stress always nail me at some point. Not this weekend ,, I am going to kick its butt!!!!

It's an off day. Work was long last night and I'm having a lack of sleep. It's days like this I need support before I make what could be a great day into a lazy day filled with bad food. I always get discouraged when I know I have to work because every possible tempting food is made in that kitchen. I think I will hop on the treadmill and try not to be lazy.

    Great choice! Not always easy to get out of the trend toward lazing around for the day, but making a conscious decision to workout is definitely your best choice!

Its rough maintaining when you have to out to eat for buisness meals or meals with friends, but i did great at breakfast, and now its on to the rest of the day. Hoping to be on the treadmill for 40 minutes. My goal is to build up minutes and incline and then move on to more challenging equipment or running altogether. I smoke so that always halts my running, but I have been trying to quit so that in itself is another challenge. I do love a good challenge! emoticon

  


Tracking everyday.

I thought , I would start tracking what I'm really doing everyday to hold myself accountable for the lifestyle I am trying to achieve. So today is day one. Today is my day off. I plan on hoppin on the treadmill and playin on the wii fit. But also I'm taking Ava to the park. So lots of cardio!!! At the same time I have a ton of things to do today and it's already 11am. It's all about prioities.

The weekend

I need help during the weekend. I work at a restaurant. and during the weekend, the non stop movement, and watching people eat, and seeing food all around me I breakdown. So what started out with a 1hr workout and special k on friday ends up with a burger and cheese cake on sunday... Help!!!

    Its pretty common to eat one way during the work week and entirely different on the weekend. One friend who is in great shape eats superbly healthy 19meals a week and enjoys the other 2 meals fully with no guilt. Usually a Sunday family dinner and an outing are the "2" cheat meals. If you are doing well 85% of the time, forgive those weekend doozies. It will all balance out.
