Making progress

Wednesday, June 09, 2010

This past weekend I skipped work, cleaning, my workouits, and my diet to put all of my energy on the LSAT. After the test I went to get dressed to go out for a realxing drink afterwards, this is when i realized that all of my jeans were not washed,, so just for the hell of it I put on a smaller size, and behold I realized I went down not one size but two!!!! This is progress. I have a tendency to fall off the entire wagon every other week or so, but this proves that what I am doing is really making a difference, and that if I keep at it, the results down the road are going to be tremendous,,

Friday, January 22, 2010

So I used to go to yoga when i was younger,, and now that i am trying to lose weight again i decided to go back to yoga,,, I was in a class with mostly women older than me,, i felt yeah this will be easy,,, then I realized i could barely hold a pose,, that i had to lift my feet when sitting up,, and that I almost couldnt touch my toes,, and the women around me looked like pros,,,wow I am out of shape!!! Its not just about losing weight anymore,, its about being healthy and in shape,, i want to touch my toes and be able to stretch to play with my daughter,,,dnot only do i want to look good in my dress i want to feel good in my dress as well,,,

Tuesday, December 01, 2009

The holidays are rough enough without ooey gooey cake,, this thing should be called orgasm on a plate, and i am sure i will be in the gym working it off for weeks to come,,, but is so hard to get back once youve had a day or two or week off due to holidays or personal issues,, it makes you feel like you have made no progress,, thats why this month i will be at the gym 6 out of 7 days until christmas eve so that way i can eat without the guilt, and have some more ooey gooey cake!!!!

do i deserve a day off?

Wednesday, October 07, 2009

I am a mother, a recent graduate,, I have a full time job,, I am the only one that cleans the house, takes care of our child,, runs all the errands, cooks dinner, and so on , and so on,, i am also trying to lose weight and lead a healthier lifestyle by working out evryday and by following a diet everyday.. I just feel that I deserve a day off, however when i take a day off,, my daughter doesnt eat all of her baby food,, the toys never get cleaned,, the dishes never get done,,, money is spent instead of earned,, the diet is not followed,, and mcdonoalds recieves a visit from the whole family,, so do i deserve a day off,,,
