Got a bad gastric flu yesterday, had a bad night, symptoms are mostly gone now but I'm very weak and slow.
Slept in until 9:30 but must go to the office, to print reports and pack supplies,
because my business trip starting tomorrow cannot be delayed : (
I'll do everything that must be done in the office,
then come back home and do the rest from home (from bed).
Exercise is out of question, and I'm going to eat salty crackers, salty toast and tea with granulated sugar. So far it's working, first portion stayed down - it was 236 calories, practically all carbs, but I'm happy it's in.
Yesterday was nice otherwise: weather was clear and sunny, 7 oC (45 oF), had my run on the forest path, it was so warm I took off one of the three layers, and my time was best hill time so far (43 minutes, somewhat slower than 12 min/mile, though). I'm getting used to running uphill, and it also helps me run faster on flat surface.
It's nice running weather outside today as well, too bad I can't go : (

I planned to henna my hair.
But yesterday evening, when I mixed henna with lemon juice, I mixed up packet of henna with packet of indigo (both powders are light green), so I used henna + indigo 1:1.
Mixture was darker than on the picture, but I started to doubt when I washed it off my hair and water was black.
So my hair is almost exactly natural color, maybe a bit redder, and gray hairs are covered well.
This is what manual promised for this mix, so I'm content after all.
But next time I'll do henna alone, to have reddish brown hair : )

At today's weigh in I was 62.9 kg (138.4 pounds).
This is 3 kg (6.6 pounds below my initial target.
When I reached my goal weigh 66 kg (145 pounds), I was so happy and so afraid to lose it that I did not change my food intake at all.
A few weeks later I lost some more weight, so added 150 calories (eating 1700-1850, fat-protein-carbs as per Spark Diet recommendations).
That allowed me a very nice and satisfactory diet, and due to weight fluctuations I thought that was enough.
But with today's result my weight report is a straight downward line, so now I'll try how automatic Spark People settings will work for me (I recall it was some 150-250 calories more).
That seems a lot, but I exercise a lot too, everyday, so I guess it's time to believe it.
I hope it will not mess up my Maintenance Ticker,
because I'm much prouder of my 8 weeks of Maintenance than my additional weight loss : )
Today I hennaed my hair. I like my dark brown hair color, but there is some gray in it, and with henna my hair should go dark reddish brown, and the white hairs red. I have to keep it on 2 more hours.
It is a bit messy, but let's see the results.
PS: I changed my nutrition settings, and it is working!!!
1640-1990 calories sounds reasonable.

Cold autumn arrived here in Hungary too.
It was 3 oC (37 oF) in the morning, no sunshine but no wind either.
Looked bad, but cotton T-shirt + long sleeves +jacket was enough.
This morning I ran around park, and my time was similar to yesterday's, 10 circles, 4.2 km in 31 minutes.
This qualified as Running (jogging) again on the Exercise tracker with 12 min/mile.
I breathed out huge clouds, but my airways did not dry out at all.
Based on today's positive experience, I hope I won't have any trouble down to -5 oC (23 oF) and up to moderate wind if I put on 1-2 more layers, cap and gloves.
Weather is seldom colder than that - wind+cold might be a problem.
My pulse went up to 120/min only - a month ago it was around 150 after similar run.
As usually, today's work will be distributed evenly between Fri-Sat-Sun.
It sucks not to have a single day without working,
but it is also good to work in intervals, and cook for family / have some rest in the breaks.
I have run 3 days in a row,
so I will not run tomorrow. Instead: Twin Peaks + stationary bike.

Unexpectedly - I ran my best time ever this morning:
12.1 min/mile (7.5 min/km), during my 35 minutes run today.
I'm surprized because I actually felt I was slow and did not make much effort.
Maybe it was because I planned to run 30 minutes only...
I entered in Exercise Tracker, and it showed it as "Running: 12 min/mile (jogging)"!
So far I ran so slow that Tracker always showed it as WALKING,
so I had to delete from cardio and enter manually that I was RUNNING, to get calories calculated right, and it was kind of demotivating.
Just a little difference but it feels great : )
