Holy Moly Push Phase

this week started Push Phase in CLX, and is it weird that i am enjoying it? lol!!

i think i am really liking the challenge. i feel like i am accomplishing something but lifting heavier. it's funny how i think 1 or 2 of the exercises i lifted 18 lbs... 18 POUNDS PEOPLE! THAT'S CRAZY TALK RIGHT THERE!!!

it's so nice out i'm going to go for a super long walk today. i haven't really been finding that the intervals on CLX are something i like doing, and i usually replace it with Turbo Jam. but today it's walking for me!

Last CLX Burn Week!

man oh man time has FLOWN. i am on the last week of CLX - Burn phase, and it's been nothing but amazing. i have just been happy all the time. there isn't anymore feelings of me being discouraged or down and depressed about my appearance, which is something i have struggled with. i just feel REALLY GOOD about how my body is transforming. my boyfriend is noticing it too, and he just can't believe that in this short of a time span how quick the results are. i'm really antsy to start Push next week because i am up for the change.

this weekend was nice because it was my best friend's bridal shower and it was kind of exciting. it's her wedding that i want to look great for in october. the dress fitting she said would be 4-6 weeks before the wedding, so it coincided nicely with finishing CLX. my concern is that it will be big and need a lot of alterations, which will cost $$. we shall see. in the mean time we have a spa day planned and her bachelorette party coming up in these next 3 months or so.

i hope everyone is doing well, especially those who are in the same time frame as me in CLX!!

woohoo! i have lost 4 lbs over the last 3 weeks!! yay!!

and i'm dumb because i never took my measurement before starting CLX, but there are inches gone i just can't be sure how many haha.

anyways, week 3 with CLX, i'm kinda excited.

CLX Week 2 + other goals

starting week 2 with CLX. i was kinda sore last week but i think i'll be fine this week. going to increase my weights as well because like she said most of us are probably capable of lifting more than we currently are. this past week i feel a lot better with the exercise and my diet. my mini goals for this week are...

+ make sure to drink 4-5 large glasses of water at work alone, and additional ones at home
+ do all of my CLX exercises
+ do over 100 min of cardio
+ have some kind of fun exercising (for me it will probably be longboarding) and TurboJam
+ make my meals during the week meat-free
+ get more protein in!

    HI!
I've completed two rounds of CLX and I just wanted to encourage you to keep up the good work!
You will probably experience soreness for a while after the CLX workouts but you will be surprised how much stronger you will be - and how much easier getting through other workouts is after finishing CLX. Good luck!

    Yay for us starting week 2.Week 1 went by fast didn't it.Before we know it we will be in the push phase.Those are great mini goals,and I have no doubt in my mind you can achieve them. emoticon

i have been toying with the idea all weekend to go back to diet stage 3 in order to keep myself en route to where i want to be weight wise. i *think* that this idea is ok, i mean it can't hurt me right? the resources are there for a reason and you know, i have no shame! i need the help to get those blasted 20 lbs off!

    I'd say, totally do what you need to! It's "only" 20 pounds, but that last 20 can be really tough! So if going back a diet stage helps you to refocus on what's important and what works, then absolutely do that. You have nothing (except a few pounds) to lose by trying! If it doesn't make a difference, no biggie - you'll try something else. As long as you keep trying, you know that those last 20 will HAVE to get going! ;)
