My 50-Day-Challenge: Day 21

Sunday, June 06, 2010

Three weeks on plan. emoticon

Today I was hungry, even though my food was good. No junk food today. Maybe it's just because it's the weekend and I had more time to think about food... This, again, would put this issue all in my head. There has got to be a way to get away from this mental thing.

Nevertheless, I did stay within my calorie range emoticon
Exericse: 60 minutes emoticon

I logged 300 activity minutes this week emoticon

Does cardio help your hunger? I find particularly on the weekends if I'm in a grazing mood that getting my heart rate up for 30 minutes works wonders. It's a weird, yet highly effective appetite suppressant.

My 50-Day-Challenge: Day 20

Friday, June 04, 2010

So, can you have a Snickers bar for dinner and still stay on plan? Maybe it's not ideal, but YES, you can! And YES, it was delicious!

My Fridays are always a bit 'testy' due to a different work schedule and I'm determined to make it through no matter what it takes.

My marcos are fine: Carb 170, Fat 40, Protein 62 (Ratio: Carb 52%, Fat 28%, Protein 20%). Normally I'm aiming for 50/25/25, but this is good enough.

Food: emoticon
Exercise: NONE today (Friday is a rest day for me)

I think if it weren't for all the sugar, Snickers might not be a bad choice at all. Chocolate, good, nuts, good, caramel ... oooo. Fail.

But ya, I don't see anything wrong with a snickers from time to time. Eat pizza if you want, just stay in that calorie range. I'm such a broken record.

My 50-Day-Challenge: Day 19

Another day on plan.

Food: emoticon
Exercise: 60 minutes emoticon

I find that it is easier for me to exercise 5 x 60 instead of 3 x 60 and 4 x 30 as I had planned initially.

That was a strange revelation for me too. Easier to do it more times per week than less times per week. emoticon

My 50-Day-Challenge: Day 18

Wednesday, June 02, 2010

I'm posting this early tonight and then I'll get off this stupid machine and take a shower and catch some much needed ZZZZZs.

I'm beginning to sound like a broken record here, but since it's going the way I intended it to, I don't mind.

I averaged my calorie intake over the past 18 days and came to a daily total average of 1250 calories. This is excluding the milk I put in my coffee every day. That is one item I simply will not log (and it certainly is petty enough).

Exercise: 60 minutes emoticon

My 50-Day-Challenge: Day 17

Wednesday, June 02, 2010

I did weigh in this morning and showed a loss of about 3 lbs. I'm saying 'about' because I really don't know exactly where I started. But that's good enough for me. For the past 17 days I stayed within my calorie range all but one day. I'd say that's pretty good.

Today's food: emoticon
Today's exercise: 60 minutes emoticon

The amazing thing is that, except for when I wake up in the morning, I'm not hungry. Cravings have been surprisingly low or non-existent.
