Another easy day today. I could really get used to this!
Company lunch provided healthy options, so I was able to skate through this one as well.

Stayed within my calorie range: emoticon

Exercise: 60 minutes power tae emoticon

If I don't slack off, I'll reach my fitness minutes goal of 1000 minutes this month.

    YOU ONLY NEED 20 days of doing 60 minutes exercise or 22 days of 45 min to make that 1000 minutes this month.

I am doing great also and really watching my food like a hawk.

I know I can do even better and I will weigh less on 6/1 than I did last SUnday!

Today was easy. No cravings, didn't have to convince myself of anything, didn't have to talk myself out of anything. Can't every day just be like this and food just becomes what it's meant to be: nourishment?

My 50-Day-Challenge: Day 9

Note to self: Never call it a day until after your teeth are brushed.

Having said that, I'll need to post a revision to yesterday's blog.
After signing off early I had me a snack, which consisted of a huge bowl of ice cream and a chocolate croissant. Ouch!

So, day 8 calorie goal not met! emoticon

I can see two things which contributed to yesterday's struggle.
1) Not planning my food for the day ahead of time like I do during the week.
2) Not planning my day properly. There was too much free time yesterday with nothing to do. While this might sound lovely it is a recipe for disaster. I'll have to be more social next weekend and get myself out of the house.

Okay, now on to today.
Calorie goal met. emoticon
Yes, my teeth are brushed; it's all good.

Weekend, weekend. I did not pre-plan my food for today and was entering as I went along. Not good practice at all.

The good news is that I did survive the weekend without doing any damage. Actually, my intake consisted of good-for-me foods.

Went to the high end of my calorie range today but nevertheless I did stay within my range emoticon

Exercise: 30 minutes cardio emoticon

Today I had Chick-fil-a for lunch. I love their chicken salad sandwich. No panic, it was planned and in my food tracker since last night. Those were 500 calories well spent. It was so good!

Stayed within my calorie range emoticon

Exercise: 30 minutes walking. emoticon

In total I logged 310 fitness minutes this week.

Hon, to me it isn't just about the calories. It's making those calories quality nutriton for the body, instead of quasi-food-stuffs.....LOL LOL LOL

You won't catch me eating that crap. And, I applaud you that you are keeping track.

    that is the way to do it. Allow for things you really enjoy and add them in. I am back to doing that also and making the most of my food choices.

    Do you pay much attention to heart rate? For example, one day you go for a walk, the next day you do the elliptical. Assuming you break a sweat on the elliptical (I used to before I broke mine in two), that's a hell of a lot more intense than a walk.

I guess what I'm getting at is measuring the burn rate of the activity vs. time spent. I think I'd rather do 15 mins on the elliptical than a 30 minute walk from a pure burn rate.

Just an idea to keep the ol' gears a turnin'
