My 50-Day-Challenge: Day 6

Saturday, May 22, 2010

Today I had to split my half hour exercise session into two 15 minute sessions due to time constraint; however, I did finish the daily 30 minutes I have committed to.

Stayed within my calorie range emoticon
(and I even had a half of a donut)

Is the elliptical your only cardio or do you switch it up a bit? What is your daily calorie range?

Setting and then accomplishing goals is so rewarding. I know you can do this. Take this journey one day at a time.

My 50-Day-Challenge: Day 5 (Thoughts this morning)

Thursday, May 20, 2010

Quite a while ago I read somewhere, that after 3 days of staying on track it gets harder and we'll start craving. I have to admit that this statement has derailed me several times since. (Is there any scientific proof to that?)

Why do people write these things and put crazy thoughts in my head?

As I'm going into day 5 I am determined to proof this to be wrong.
Watch for my update tonight.

"Stayed within my calorie range" ... double check mark! I probably sound like a broken record at this point. But I know this is the hardest point, yet the most critical, so hats off to you!

My 50-Day-Challenge: Day 3

Wednesday, May 19, 2010

Observations: Another day of waking up hungry, so again I allowed a greater amount of calories for my breakfast. I eat breakfast at work at my desk and today breakfast stretched out throughout the morning. It was great; I felt I was eating constantly and by the time I finished it was lunch time.

Just because I have a food plan doesn't mean that I need to be tied down to exact mealtimes. Flexibility is a great thing.

Tonight I mourned my last bite. The mind is a powerful thing (thinking definitely gets in the way sometimes ;-)).
I decided that it would be safest to get myself out of the house, so I did. Went to the gym for a power tae class.

Today's conclusion:
Staying within my calorie range emoticon
Exercise: power tae 60 minutes emoticon

I got to tell you: YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO WAKE UP HUNGRY .... emoticon

Make breakfast last a long time. Not a problem. You don't get the sugar overload that way. What do you have for breakfast.

I had oatmeal topped with Fiber One Yogurt then topped with 1/2C Blueberries. It's just so yummy and keeps me full. Today I put almonds and raisins in it also.

I should be full for a very long time~!

Enjoy your day, your food, your workouts. YOu have a plan that is super. Sticking to the plan is very important.
