Wow, just got home from work and will be back in tomorrow morning at 7:00 am. Actually my entire department will be there at some time tomorrow, finishing what should have been accomplished tonight. We just are not proficient yet on this new piece of sh..equipment. Aren't we a dedicated bunch?
I'm thinking I'll only have about 3 hours of work left at the most and my goal is to finish by 10:00 am. Made a hair appointment for 11:00 tomorrow and I won't miss that!
Sometime this afternoon my back started feeling a bit better. Still tense, but less pain. I have yet to do my fun exercises today, which I'll do right after I sign off here. I'll go easy on the jacks.
Water was okay today. I finished it all during work. But then, I was at work for 12 hours...
No TV/WiFi worked out again fine as well. I do seem to wake up less groggy in the morning. I'll definitely continue this little experiment. One problem though, it's almost time for a new book. I have a bunch of books laying around (or is it lying? These two I cannot use properly for the life of me! Lou?), which I have started reading into but never finished or haven't read yet at all. There should be quite a few to choose from.
Okay, time to do my fun exercises and then I'll hit the hay.

Another long day at work; didn't get home 'til 20:00. Did stop by the drugstore though for some pain killers and some IcyHot. So as I sit here my back is soaking in IcyHot and I feel (almost) no pain. I'll give it the weekend, and if I don't see any improvement, I'll go see a chiropractor.
Again, I forgot all about drinking my water today. It's real easy for me to go all day without; thus this challenge. So, here I sit with my last 8 oz. Will have them gone by the time I finish this blog.
Did my jumping jacks today, and of course my pushups and reverse pull ups. All 5 of them. (Can you say, yay? :)) Still easy. I wonder how I'll do when I get past 20. Jumping jacks won't be a problem, once my back gets back to normal. I can go all night doing jacks, but I wonder how I'll do on my pushups and pull ups.
Slept astonishingly well last night and was able to make it out of bed this morning without having to drag myself. It's been a while since I've been able to get up easily. I'm crediting my no TV/WiFi after lights out. I'm glad that this is a rather long experiment, so I should really be able to find out if this makes a difference overall.
Okay, all goals met, water is finished, so am I.

My back is still behaving badly, so my regular workouts are out for the time being. Hoping that tomorrow will be better.
And while my back is going downhill, things at work are starting to look up a bit. Still frustrating, but better. I'm thinking I'm at least a month away from mastering all the good things this new system has to offer and find work-arounds for all the bad things it won't.
As for my challenge, piece of cake, well, maybe not my fun exercises.
I did my 4 (yes, 4!!!) pushups and reverse pull ups but my back won't let me do jumping jacks today, so I did 8 half-jacks. Hey, that makes 4 whole ones, doesn't it?
Water was good today.
No TV/Wifi - check. I was reading instead, and Lunesta did put me out of my misery :)
Actually looking forward to my book tonight. I'm reading the German translation of "La Sombra Del Viento" by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. (In English: "The Shadow of the Wind".) Currently on page 436 of 563 - good book.

Had to miss my workout today, as my back is still acting up and I don't want to take a chance of it going out completely.
Work went a bit better today, even though there still are many vital tasks that I have not yet figured out how to accomplish on the new system. Makes for some not so happy customers and vendors :(
Guess more overtime is in store for me this week...
Aside from this challenge I joined another challenge with my maintenance team. This is a 10-week challenge and ends on Easter Monday.
Goal is to stay within +/- 3% of your maintenance weight. I figured this would be a great addition to my 100 day challenge, since there are no weight challenge points here.
So this was day 3:
Oops, what? Water? OMG I don't have my 5 yet (almost forgot...) - hold on!
Okay, I'm back. I'm on my last 8 oz.
Just for fun exercises: 3 of each - done! I had to be careful with the jumping jacks, my back did not like them, but I figured I can do a measly 3.
No TV/WiFi after lights out. I did that; read a book instead. Did not get much restful sleep though. I'm thinking the stress at work was getting to me.
Let's see how tonight goes. Hmm, I'm thinking Lunesta :)

Very stressful day at work. First day on a new computer operating system & way too many bugs. Didn't get much accomplished, left work at 16:00. Sitting in rush hour traffic seemed like a lesser evil.
