About a year and a half ago a did a 49 Day Challenge, which I finished rather successfully. The goal was to track my food and lose a couple of pounds.
I have since moved into maintenance, but there are still many things that need vast improvement. And since I'm rather competitive, a challenge seems the way to go.
When I stumbled across this team "100 Days to a Healthier You" last night, I was excited to join the challenge.
This time my challenge is not at all about losing weight; there are other areas which need to be addressed. I chose the following three:
January 29 - May 7, 2012: 100 Day Challenge.
Focus will be on HYDRATION.
I'm terrible with water. Goal is 40 oz. a day. That's 5 cups. Even I should be able to do this.
Progressive push-ups, reverse pull-ups, and jumping jacks, corresponding to the number of participation days. (I threw this in just for fun. This is in addition to my regular workouts.)
At least 7 hours of sleep every night.
No TV in the bedroom & keep my head out of the WiFi zone.
As day 1 comes to a close I can report the following:
2. Fitness (I had to do one of each today )
3. This one I'll have to report on in tomorrow's blog.
I can already tell, I'm going to have a blast with this challenge.
