My 50-Day-Challenge: Day 29

I missed it, the clock just turned 0:00.
This is my blog for Sunday, June 13, 2010.


And since it's late I'll make this short.
Good day today. Watched the Germany:Australia soccer game with friends.
Go Germany! Yay.

Then a graduation luncheon, which was no problem as there were plenty of good food choices available.

Food: Within range emoticon

No exercise scheduled for today. I do feel my jogging muscles though from yesterday's jog. Great, as this tells me that I'm not using these muscles nearly enough. Maybe I'll change my Saturday exercise to jogging from now on.

Okay, I have got to get some shut eye. emoticon

A trick I use on occasion, if I think I'll be late, writing a blog and it won't post till after midnight, I write a short one sentence blog then come back and edit it after midnight. That way it goes in on the right day :)

My 50-Day-Challenge: Day 28

That's 4 weeks! emoticon ... if I may say so myself. :)

I did not make it to my gym class this morning. Stayed up too late last night and didn't get up in time. emoticon

Since I had to do something in order to hit my self-prescribed 300 fitness minutes this week, I went to the park to walk. emoticon The path that goes around the park is exactly 1 mile long and my plan was to do 4 miles. After walking for about 1/2 mile I decided to do a little jog. emoticon

While I have done some crazy things (exercise wise) in my life (gymnastics as a teen, taekwondo emoticon in my late 30s/early 40s), I can honestly say I have never jogged.

I did 2 miles and then walked the remaining 1-1/2. Great experience. I'll do it again soon.

Food was good today emoticon
In 4 weeks I had 4 days when I went above calories. So I can honestly say it's going well.

Exercise: emoticon
Again this week I'm logging 300 fitness minutes. Yay.

The spunk is back! A really felt adventurous tonight, so I posted a photo to my page :) Why not?

Today I don't have much to say. I spent 10 hours at work and I'm tired.
I had no exercise scheduled for today. That just will not fit into my Friday.
But, I'll be at the gym tomorrow morning.

Food was within calorie range today emoticon

I'm off to watch some easy breezy British comedy :-)

    I worked overtime today, too 12 hours total today. somebody in one of our other offices called in sick. So I covered some of his shift. Our fridays are really busy too, usually.
I actually was able to make myself work out tonight.
I guess because i know i don't have to get up so early tomorrow.
Hope you feel more "spunk-full" tomorrow emoticon
