As far as the last picture on here goes, I feel like I need to say this to people a lot. I always get looks or comments made at the doctors or the grocery store...if only they understood! (by comments I mean..."oh, you have put on a lot of weight since the last time you were here...what's wrong with you? Why didn't you listen to anything I said last time?" at the doctors...and at the grocery store, it's: "pfft, I don't think those vegetables and fruits are going to be enough to help YOU")..yes seriously this does happen!

    People say words not thinking that they will hurt just as if they had taken a knife and stabbed us. But we are stronger than words. We can move forward. We have each other here and our support system where we each live. We just have to remember that we have to take some time to allow those wounds from the words to heal and NOT with food! emoticon

April showers bring...a fresh start

So, my goals have changed quite a bit for this month. When I first started this journey over, I wanted to do weight lifting, eat paleo, and be more hardcore about my weight loss. Well...with the state my body has been in, I HAVE to tweak my journey quite a bit. I am having really bad problems with PCOS and Endometriosis. So...to make a long story short...I am becoming a Pescatarian (pretty much vegetarian way of eating...but including seafood...since I do need protein), I will be treating my body in a much gentler way so I'm going to stick with yoga and walking with light jogging...and I'm taking herbal supplements to help out with anxiety and inflammation.

I'm hoping by making these changes, my journey will be able to continue without chronic pain.
