Isn't This Frustrating???

Thursday, December 03, 2009

Yesterday I visited my Cardiologist and stepped on the weighing scale expecting to see atleast 500gms.less than the last time.
Woe is me-----the scale showed that I had actually GAINED a full Kilo----I was TOTALLY deflated!!!
My clothes have become loose,my fat face looks thinner and I'm finally developing a waist!!!
Yet how could this happen???
ENLIGHTEN ME PLEASE!!!

As you know women have fluid retention, who knows what's going on with our digestive system on a day to day basis, even a cup of water is 500 grams, leaving clothes weight aside at the doc's ofice. I agree with everyone else's suggestion to measure your body. Good Luck! sorry for the belated response but, reading all your blogs.

I agree with others, the measuring tape should be your friend..if you have lost inches, you are just doing fine, don't worry

Komal - don't worry about the scale. More important that you look and feel healthier! Remember that your weight fluctuates during the day and it is best to be weighed at the same time everyday.

hey inch loss is better too....u must be gaining muscle and also could be weight distribution...take measurements..sometimes tats a faster result than weight loss...

You are much healthier and have gained some muscle mass. Go with how you feel and run with it!

Enjoy,

You are losing inches, building muscle and perhaps wearing heavy clothes. Your clothes weigh about 4bs (2kg) so you've probably lost that kg and some. Have you weighing scales at home that you can hop on first thing with no clothes on?

Don't be disheartened, you are doing just fine.

I know its human nature to assume the gain is a bad thing (like its all FAT or something) but mebbe the kilo you gained was muscle?

Use your tape measure. You may be losing inches. Which is a good thing. emoticon

Loving Life

Friday, November 13, 2009

I am a year old on Sparkpeople.com but this is the first time I'm blogging in.Life has been good---blessed me with a fabulous husband, two daughters and a grand-daughter and two wonderful sons-in-law.
My belief in God the Supreme Being is total---whatever He/She thinks fit to send my way I accept humbly----I am a Hindu and my pantheon of Gods and Godesses is huge.It is my faith which gives me the strength to face Life as it comes.
I would like people who are as positive as I am to share this topic with me----God has been good to me and despite my health problems Life is STILL wonderful!!!!
