Summer Camp Adventure

Sunday, August 15, 2010

Last week I was at Tomahawk Scout Reservation with my Boy Scout troop. We had a great time. I had the chance to Kayak for the first time in my life and earned my snorkel BSA patch for my swimsuit. I tried to follow my plan for eating. I think I did well. I did not seem to gain any weight over the week. YES!!

Then I went to my cousins wedding. What a GREAT time. I got exercise by dancing the night away. Tomorrow I have to go back to work, but that will be ok because then I can get back to my plan for exercise and food. I will see you tomorrow on Spark people.

Have a sparky Day

Welcome home Koma! We sure did miss you. Your light shines far and wide, and changes our youth from the inside. To your blog I must reply, and thank you for being such a great guy. As an eagle, you have a great eye. Our future, our youth, in you we rely. Your vision is sacred given from on high. Your legacy will never dim or die. Our debt to you we can not deny. Then, is heard a voice from the sky, "Welcome home, my good and faithful servant." emoticon emoticon

Summer Camp Here I come.

Friday, August 06, 2010

Tomorrow I will be going to summer camp. I am so looking forward to this week. Nothing says vacation like chaperoning 15 adolescent boys (lol) any way I am looking forward to it and will take full advantage of the exercise that I can get in a long term camp.

I will not be bloging for one week as I will not have a computer at summer camp. Part of my treat during vacation.

I hope that you have a sparky week and take care.

Koma is da man! That's right he is going to camp, with 15 want-ta-be Komas. Have a great time! We'll be praying for all ya all. Just because you're doing God's work doesn't mean it is going to be easy. Any time you go into harm's way, it is going to be tough, but you be tougher. Be prepared, stay strong, and in God's will carry on. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

One small goal met One GIANT leep for me

Thursday, August 05, 2010

I have reacher 212 LBS Just two weeks ago I was at 218. Thank you Spark people for keeping me motavated.

I love Going to summer camp, However I am going to miss loging in to spark people every day and keeping track of my daily totals. All is not lost however, I will bring a note book with me and will record what I eat each day and I will watch eating all the junk food that comes with summer camp. I will also do at least 30 MIn of exercise every day that I am up there. That is my plan for sticking with it while at Summer camp.

I thought that If I write down it will keep me honest and allow me to follow the plan.

Room Temp

Wednesday, August 04, 2010

I try and keep my room at a warmer temp so that I drink more water. It also saves me lots of money on my electric bill. I saw a great blue heron today. Wow what a cool bird.

I have four days left before summer camp.

Hi everybody,

Today in minnesota, it is almost 100 degrees. this is a great time to drink water and replenish all of those fluids that are lost durring exercise.

I will be going to summer camp in 5 days. I am so looking forward to it. I want to be able to climb the tower and play a great game of basketball or football with the boys. I hope that you have a great sparky day
