That cat is beautiful. I love its coloring. A not-so-subtle way of asking for attention?

that's so adorable! Your cat is making a point and I think you should listen. LOL My dogs do the same thing when they want attention. All three of them will look at me and give me the sad eyes and it always gets to me. Talk about being an animal lover. lol

Shades of Northern Exposure....

Wednesday, January 01, 2014

Feels like we're living in the wild kingdom! My DH snapped this picture through our dining room window after waving goodbye as I drove down the hill yesterday. This female moose was crossing a busy road until she was spooked by oncoming traffic and decided not to cut through our yard....

Don't tell a Scotsman that you had a moose in the hoose he might think you meant to say a mouse in the house.

OUCH!

Now who is going to report this as an inappropriate comment?

A 3-year-old's perspective

Friday, October 18, 2013

Conversation between my daughter and 3-yr-old grandson:

So Christopher and I are coming home in the car and he says, "God is way high up in the sky and he's making a house."
And I say, "Really?"
"Uh-huh."
"I always thought he was everywhere and he lived in our hearts."
"Oh, yeah, God lives in our hearts, yeah."
Then he thought about it for awhile and he said, "God doesn't live in my heart, no."
"Oh, really?"
"No, I have graham crackers in my heart. Mommy, do we have graham crackers?"
"Yes, we do. Here you go."
"Oh, thank you."
Hysterical.

Children that age are so endearing! I love to hear the things they say that I'm sure make perfect sense to them. Sometimes I think to myself I'd love to keep them that age, but then after spending time with three-year-olds I quickly form second thoughts ;) Take care!
