7 Days of Inspiration - Day 6

Day 6

You hold a special place in more hearts than you realize.

No one truly knows how far our reach really is. We are aware of the obvious.....our family...our friends....our co-workers. But there are the lives we affect that we aren't even aware of. For example....that lady you held the door open for.....a person in the street that you smiled at and said hello......the neighbor who saw you pull a weed out of their lawn. Who knows how far your reach is....

I have been fortunate lately to hear from some people about my impact in their lives.....lives I wasn't even aware that I touched. That's how simple it is. Just like the stars in the sky....that's how important you are to the universe.

You have a purpose and you serve a very special need. Never forget that......so as you work toward your goals, be conscious of your place in the world......You are no longer doing this for just you....even tho you are the most important one.

To keep causing wonderful cause and effect moments.....we need to be here....and we need to be healthy.

To all of you who have touched my life in ways I could never articulate.....Thank you! I love you! You make this a great place to be.

What will day seven bring???

Hugs,

Keri

it is especially true if you have children. If you include being active into your lifestyle so will they,
They have been others that do not even know that they have touched and inspired me. At the pool there is this guy who doesn't let his weight get in the way of his workout... he is going it alone. That takes lots of strength.
Or the woman walking. (not the skinny ones) she inspires me with her courage to get out there,
It they can do it ... so can I.

Day 5

Hope and hard work put all within reach.

True, true, true! As we work toward achieving our goals we need to keep in mind that theses things aren't achieved by wishing. You have to keep hoping with your new found confidence and put everything you've got into it.

I know I'm not going to lose the weight until I make "moving" a priority. It doesn't matter what you do....you need 30 minutes a day and you need to get your heart pumping. It really doesn't matter what you exercise tolerance is. You can break up your exercise into manageable pieces and build from there. The only thing that will stop you is not doing anything.

I refuse to let inactivity run my life. I am going to win this war I'm waging on my weight. Now is the time. I see the carrot dangled out in front of me.

I will reach it......Just watch me! And you can come along for the ride.

Until tomorrow,

Hugs,

Keri

Day 4

Your dreams are just waiting to be lived.

I had to pause there before writing. This one really struck a cord with me. Especially lately.

I'm waiting to lose weight.....I'm waiting for my dream job to come along.....I waiting for my life to begin again...

Pretty pathetic isn't it. ...... well....it is to me.

I can't wait anymore. I have to start living my dreams and making them happen. I'm going to use my unique qualities and my new found confidence to make them come true.

I'm going to plan and set achievable goals to get where I'm going. And I'm going to have fun a long the way.

I don't know what this plan is going to look like but I'm starting it today. I will share it with you later.

What are you going to do about your dreams that are waiting to be lived?

Catch ya tomorrow!

Hugs,

Keri

Day 3

Confidence can take you so much farther than doubt.

Isn't that the truth? When I think about times when I have let doubt get the better of me...it almost makes me angry. Doubt just sucks all of the good stuff out of you.

Confidence is the key to our journey.....if we were more confident...it would give us the motivation to win the race. Confidence also feels so much better than doubt. Close your eyes.....now think about......confidence. Now do the same with doubt. Remember those feelings as you make your choices this week.

I want the confident feelings.......it's all the good stuff....

Wanna join me?

Hugs,

Keri

Confidence just helps you push yourself a bit more.
Take a breath and reach just a little more. It is amazing where that little bit will take you.
Can't wait for your next blog.

You are so right! Why do we forget the good things that take us further in our journey? We always get stuck, over and over in the same place. TIME TO STEP OUT WITH CONFIDENCE!

7 Days of Inspiration - Day 2

Day 2

Forget your "flaws"! You've got a list of good qualities a mile long!

Interesting isn't it? If you read yesterdays blog, and followed the instructions.....I would almost be willing to bet that your good qualities are very similar to yesterday's assignment. Or are they?

Today...think about what others would consider your "good qualities". As you think about those......how genuine do you think they are? Are they really what you would consider your good qualities? Or is it a mask you wear?

Our weight loss journey is about peeling off those masks and facing our realities. In doing this we can change our outcome. If we put aside our masks.....our flaws....and concentrate on those things that make us GREAT! We can change our future.....and our outsides will reflect our insides!

What do you think?

See you tomorrow!

Hugs,

Keri

Wonderful! Iwould agree with NANCY-! I use my humor as a cover many times, but how can I use it that way if it's not there to begin with!

Keep up the good work!

Thomas Jefferson was bad at managing money, but great at so many other things.
Ben Franklin and the kite stuff.... kind of makes me wonder about him.

Sometimes my vivaciousness is used as a mask, but it truly is a part of me. What is is used for is to mask my disdain for routine. So I can use this quality to keep my life fresh and alive.

Keri,
Thanks for doing this. As you can see it is helping me to gain valuable insight.

You are ....
