Here we go again

Thursday, May 29, 2014

Always there’s a reason to wait until tomorrow to start – for any given Monday – or the first of the month. But they are just excuses – ones that I have used more than once. And the reasons to not exercise – just not “feeling it” or too much work to break for lunch or one thing or another hurts too much.
So once again I am starting over at 263 (4 pounds shy of my highest weight). Today is the first day. One baby step at a time

You're right one baby step at a time. Plan, Schedule and Execute!! I went through the same thing and yesterday I said, "You will workout tomorrow, no excuses". So, I did just that and felt GREAT during and AFTERWARDS. Keep a positive attitude. emoticon

Got the book (on Kindle - kinda wish i had bought hardback version) and started reading it. Planning on starting the plan June 15.

The plan is to try to get the husband to do this with me.

Exercise streak - day 3

Wednesday, March 13, 2013

Pre-ordered the new Spark book - got the DVDs in mail few days ago. I am loving the Fit Firm and Fired Up dvd - have done 3 of the workouts so far. Thats a lot packed into those 10 minute workouts.

Plan is to do at least 1 a day - in addition to any other exercise I do that day (so far for this week other than stretching those are the only workouts that i have fit in past few days)

TGIF - the final end to a LOOOONNNGGG week. I have discovered i am a "stress eater" but no that i know i am trying to work on that - it going to be a challenge but i think im up to it.

An a good note i got my orthotics from the hospital today (bad feet). First time in months it didnt hurt to walk - Next 10K will be even faster.

Sitting here working on a new project for Easter - I always have bunny"dolls" (crochet) that I sell this time of year. This year I added a new twist - some of them will rattle (for the little kids). Figured that would be a popular thing(i hope) Nice thing about working with string - makes it harder to snack.

My mother made a croched duck for my husband that dispensed jelly beans (just where you think they would come out). Before he retired, he always had it at work this time of year.

Oh man, I love bunnies. I want to see a pic when they're done! And you're right, it keeps your hands busy so you can't stress eat or mindlessly eat!

No excuses! today's motto

Woke up and the shins were screamin - in the past that would have been excuse enough to skip the gym. BUT TODAY - i went anyway. I did not aggravate the problem by getting on the track - i rode the stationary bike instead.

Have you tried the elliptical? It may be easier on your shins until the pain lets up a bit.
