No blog yesterday cause spark was doing maintenance and kept shutting me down.

I talk to the supervisor my order was sent back and now it is in Ontario at their processing plant.

The person who signed for it didn't read the label and tore open the package and told driver to send it back. Driver was stupid not to double check the apartment # on my label.

So now there is a strike at the postal plant and I don't know when I will get my package. Too let anyways.

My customer was very understanding about lost shipment. Told me not to worry and to make them asap when the yarn come in.

It finally stopped raining and it is so cool and breezy now. Smells like Spring.

Took the day off from knitting and crocheting to rest my hands and back.

As for my back it is so bad right now that I am taking muscle relaxant and pain killer for the back spasms. Doctor said it will get better as long as I don't sit for to long.

Gave me some stretching exercises to do and I need to do these 3xs a day. Will see her next week sometime.

Well that is is going to do my back stretches now and then go and have a epson salt bath, then watch TV in bed for a while.

I hope you all are having a great Friday and I wish you all a great weekend.

Don't worry about my back it will get better, I just can't sit for 12 hours and knit all day long for two straight months. Lesson Learned and acknowledged.

I am setting up a new plan for my knitting business and I will be doing office hours now. 10am to 5pm after that office is closed.

On my coffee and lunch breaks I will be doing my back stretches and walking or biking for 15 minutes and not 5 minutes every hour on the hour.

On special orders I will spend more time on my knitting or crocheting but I will stop as soon as I get a twitch in my back.

I need to make this work. I need the money to stay home now that John is not working and we are still waiting for his EI to come. He hasn't even applied yet. Silly fool. Can't make him.

Still working on mom's sweater, got one arm sewn on and the other one I had to take off cause I sewed it in in side out. Not paying attention.

Will finish it tomorrow and then start on the bands again since they didn't look right.

Well that is enough talking tonight.

Again don't worry about me I will be OK. I will manage some how. I always do.

Pleasant dreams and good night

Hope you have received your yarn by now and all is well. I am sure your stress level did not help your back. Hope you are able to rest and get some relaxing sleep. So glad your customer was understanding about the mix-up with the yarn delivery. Still can't understand how DHL screwed this up in the beginning.
HUGS!!!

I'm glad you found out what happened to the shipment and that the customer was understanding.
I'm sorry your back is still bothering you so much. Sitting is very hard on it so getting up and stretching and walking around really helps a lot (at least it helps me anyway).
Good idea putting some work hours in place. That way you won't be tempted to do too much at once.

You're right - your back will get better if you follow your doctors advice, do your exercises, and stretch. A little over a year ago I had an injury so severe that it really scared me but I did exactly what I was told and (other than the odd twinge now and then) it's completely healed. In fact yesterday I spent over 2 1/2 hrs loading topsoil into a wheel barrow, pushing is across our big back yard, emptying and spreading; today I'm a little bit stiff but no more than I am after a vigorous workout. I'm very glad that strength and flexibility training are part of my regular workout because yesterday I really reaped the rewards.

So, keep up the good work! I'm glad you found out what happened to your yarn and I hope you get it back soon.

Take care, and have a great weekend.

So sorry to hear about your back. The doctor is
right, you should be careful not to aggravate the
situation and your new business hour plan sounds
like it will be a good arrangement.

Lucky that the customer was understanding about the
mix-up. You'll get there, just wait and see. How is your

I have no words! Actually I do!

Wednesday, June 01, 2011

DHL came by yesterday and dropped off order when we were not at home. Someone from my apartment building signed for it. The driver said that I signed for it but I was not at home, had proof that I was at the recycling plant when he delivered said package. They will not do anything about it. Said not their problem!!!! End of story.

They will not do anything. Knocked on everyone's door and was told they didn't take it. Now I am out of money for the yarn and my Customer won't get the rest of his order.

Now I have to re order yarn and get them to ship it to me, They can't yarn colour is on back order and they don't know when I will get it.

Now it is raining with hail outside just when I wanted to go outside and walk off my anger and get in a workout.

So be it, Sh*t happens and I will deal with this latest obstacle I will get on my stationary bike and peddle my anger away.

So now I know that when I do order that I am to stay at home until who knows when the order will get here so that I can sign for the dang thing.

Drama, Vent it over, I am feeling better now that I have written it out and I am peddled my butt off and while I was doing my peddle I was screaming at the jerk who stole from me. Thank goodness John wasn't here to see me freak out or anyone else for that matter.

I am going to have a shower now and then start on dinner. I want a pizza and a Coke but I won't cause I just lost a pound of fat and I work so very hard to get it off me again so I won't destroy what I have done.

I will have something healthy instead, don't know what will be yet but I will make it healthy and low cal, low carb and so darn tasty.

Bye for now.

Please send me some good vibes or prayers that the thief will give me back my order. I have no idea why they would do this to me or to anyone else for that matter.

OH well whats done in done.

The latest chapter in Sandraland. Thanks for reading and commenting.

Sandra, I am sorry to hear this. Call back UPS and demand that you didn't sign for it you were not home and ask to speak with a Supervisor or Manager. Let them know you didn't receive the package or box and call the company who you purchased it from. The company will contact UPS to track it and the company will also send you out a new delivery. You can get livid, but don't use any indecent languages. Make sure you speak with a Supervisor of manage of the Company you made the purchase from.

Be Bless it will work out.

AT THAT TIME THERE WAS A KNOCK ON MY DOOR AGAIN AND MY BOX WAS THERE MY HUBBY RAN A=OUT WITH THE OTHER BOX AND GAVE IT BACK TO THE DRIVER AND ALL WAS FINE..

Grrr - maybe the person who got the package will open it, realize it's "just" yarn (no good for them) and return it anonymously. A couple of years ago, I paid extra to have a package Fed-Ex'd. I keep my front gate shut - at that time by wrapping a chain around the parts - so the little dogs don't get out. The mailman,UPS, visitors, even the Jehovah Witless figured it out. The Fed-Ex guy left a message ON THE WEBSITE, not at the bouse, that he was unable to get in because the gates were chained shut.

Is there somewhere you can put a note on the order blank that only you can sign for the order? Or designate an alternate?

That is so outrageous someone would do that!! For one thing, who would want it anyway?? What would they get out of one color of yarn?? The driver should be called on it. If you guys weren't home, he would have bounced off your door. It had to have been someone living beside you or on your floor..So sorry!! I would be screaming stomping mad too and be slamming doors until someone owned up!!
Hope they get a conscience. Post a note saying you really need that yarn to complete an order to make your living and you won't comment if its returned anomynously to you.
Hope you can sleep on this :(
Hugs,
Linda

ok if you "signed" for the package then they should be able to verify the signature isn't yours and then they should be responsible for at least the cost, but then again that would be too logical!

I love pizza, I have been trying some healthier versions as not to have to give up something I like ;)

keep up the good work and I hope the culprit gives you your package

It raining, its pouring!

Tuesday, May 31, 2011

Couldn't get onto Sparks all day, kept getting error messages, ect. ect. ect. but now I am on but only for a few minutes. Just to let you all know that I am thinking about all of you. I hope you all are doing great.

Well it is pouring with rain now but I do have one window open letting in the fresh spring air in. Feels so good and smells fresh.

Any ways I am off to get in some light cardio and so some stretching exercises for my back. It is still bothering me but not as bad as it was before. Should be back to normal by tomorrow, I hope.

Did more recycling today and only made 20.00 enough for some groceries for dinner tonight and tomorrow night.

Well I am signing off now.

Happy June 1st tomorrow, can't believe it is the end of another month. Geez where did the month go.

Have a great night. Will see you all in the morning.

Right now i am watching Extreme Makeover, so far so good. After that it will be my bed time.

I hope you all had a great day today and will have a great day tomorrow.

Relaxing Sunday!

Sunday, May 29, 2011

Slept in this morning and finally got in 8 hours of total sleep. Woke up three times.
Went to work on my knitting but found sitting for too long really hurts my back so I rest all day.

I can't sit for too long on my office chair to spark but I did what I can and that is enough. I did get in my 10,000 steps and did some great stretching which help a bit. So I should be better tomorrow if not I will be making a chiropractor appt. to get my back adjusted.

I made a very healthy spaggeti and meatballs dinner tonight and I am right now waiting for John to come back from the store with the milk and cream so that we can have our coffee with dinner.

Any ways he is back now, so I am going to leave you all.

Have a great Monday.
