Well, 8 weeks out of surgery. Working our when I can at the Y and walking on my lunch hour at work. Not going to step on the scale until next Friday. Been hungry alot lately though, trying to keep fruit around to curve this issue. I knew I would have to start all over again and not really feeling like it the past couple of days. But I will cause I have goals I need to stand by. I just have to get past the low before I can get back to the high I had before surgery.

Back to the Gym

Okay, so I waited to get back in the gym, per my dr. Last Monday I went to spin class (first day back to the gym) Did okay just could not stand for to long. Just went my own pace and felt pretty good afterward. Tuesday went and could only handle about 20 mins on the elliptical. Been busy with the kids and my husbands work schedule so that was it. I hope to go back to my spin class tonight. I have gained 10 pounds back since surgery but that is not bad. Just going to go slow and steady as I can until I can get back to where I was before my foot surgery. But I am soooooo glad I had the surgery, I can already tell a big difference. emoticon emoticon

5 weeks out of surgery tomorrow...... Soooooo one more week till I can hit the gym again. Really trying to go with the Dr from this surgery and give myself time to heal, your foot is not something you want to mess up. I have pushed myself at some points after surgery but I could tell my limits. Going to tuff it out a little longer then I will hit the gym and just do what i feel is working for me. I have a habbit of pushing and I;m sure I will but I will be a little more careful from now on with things like that. emoticon emoticon emoticon

    emoticonidea to wait until you are completely healed and the Doc gives you the go ahead! You can go FULL steam ahead and not have to worry! emoticon

Okay so, my husband has been working for three months and I have had to stop my gym workouts because of it. I have been going once or twice every two weeks. With the warmer weather it is hard for me to stop working on the farm during the weekend to go to the gym, so instead of asking my kids to get things for me, I do it so I can keep moving. I miss the gym a lot and the alone time it provided but now I spend more time with my family and still get some exercise. I am going to have surgery on my foot so I am trying to get things done around my house to help out as much as possible while I can not do anything much. I have a feeling I will doing things anyways. emoticon

    Try not to over do, I know it's hard with kids. You have to put yourself 1st sometimes!
It will only benefit them in the long run!

My March goal of 190 was met. I have set a new goal but I am still not satisfied with it completely. My husband has finally started working which is a really good thing. However, it has all but eliminated me going to spin classes. This is his first week so I can't get to upset until I can figure out when to get my workouts in. Looks like I will be giving up alot of weekend time, but I am still hopeful that things will work out and I will adjust.

I have noticed that eating the right things is not as hard for me as it once was. I still get a little off every once and awhile but I just get over it and keep moving forward. I have really been pushing myself at the gym over the past few weeks and I can see the results. I don't understand people who workout and don't break a sweat or really challenge themselves. What's the point if you only stay in your comfort area.

Anyways that was my soap box for now.
