Going on a hayride today to pick pumpkins! Yay! It's supposed to be a gorgeous day, so it'll be good to spend the day outside. My parents and sibs and their families are coming, too, so that makes it even better. Enjoy your Saturday!
My work really gets into dressing up for Halloween and today's the day. So far I've seen a pregnant cheerleader (the woman is really pregnant), Adam Lambert and Dora the Explorer. I was planning on wearing my chef's outfit from Cooking Day when my co-worker said "Bring an iron and you can be the Iron Chef!" Genious, right?
We are usually away for Halloween, but this year we're home, so we get to see all the little ones (and big ones) in costume. Can't wait. In between, I found a yummy recipe for a pumpkin soup, so my Sunday is all set.
I love the suggestion from TEALLADY that says "depending on your niece's age, you could get a workout in by playing tag". Made me laugh cause my niece is turning 23...funny. The family already thinks I'm cuckoo for CoCo Puffs! LOL
So I didn't get up early to exercise like I said I was going to knowing that I can't get to Jazzercise today, plus it's raining and will all day, so walking isn't an option. I did leg lifts while blow drying my hair...every little bit counts right?
I watch Survivor on Wednesday nights...one of the few shows I watch anymore. I plan on doing workouts on commercials and that's about it for today. Just going to do my very best.
Imagine the guilt that would be put upon me if I missed my niece's birthday party tomorrow night because my Jazzercise class is at the same time and the two are too far apart distance wise to do both...UGH!
In the worst way I want to send my husband alone to represent our family, but I know that's wrong. Maybe I'll just get up earlier tomorrow morning and workout at home before work so that I get my workout in for the day. Suggestions?
