Seriously? Am I really hungry or am I just eating because I'm stressing over something? Well, I have to ask myself this question almost every time I go to put something in my mouth lately. How about you?

    Oh yeah! I ask myself that all the time. Sometimes if I drink my water I forget that I thought I was hungry. They say thirst masquerades as hunger. Seems to me lots of things masquerade as hunger. Stress is one of them. Boredom is another. emoticon

Another sunny day in NJ...NOT! More rain, sleet, snow...blah, blah, blah...whatever...it's winter...stop complaining right???

I've noticed that my Jazzercise classes are full again. People are honoring their New Year's commitments I guess. There wereabout 50 women there last night! Normally there are about 30. Good for them...just hope that they realize that it takes consistency to make a difference in the long run.

Facebook...friend or foe?

It just seems like such a time sucker to me...oh, and why do people feel the need to share EVERY little detail of EVERY waking minute of their day? My workplace actually promotes the use of FB. I see it up on people's screens all over the building. I don't know...I just don't get it.

Baby steps...

that's all it takes to learn to walk, and that is what it will take to start losing weight again. Some of my new healthy ways stuck, but some have fallen to the wayside. This week I am going to eat 6 small meals each day which is what helped me to lose weight last year.

    Those 6 small meals is the key. I'm not always good at doing it, but I have watched my mother turn her health around and now she is having a hard time not losing because she has been faithfully following that type of plan. emoticon

    Hi! Good for you! Baby steps in anything is the key! This week I plan to start walking also, though I am using it to fight the urge to smoke. My quit day is Thursday, so I figure every time I am ready to give in, I will take a quick walk around the block. Best wishes to you!! emoticon
