My YAY!!! Today is my "new" treadmill is here!!! I sure could have benefit from it earlier in the week, since we have had so much rain. But, I'm thankful we were able to pick it up yesterday. I had a nice early morning run on it today!!! I do perfer to be outside, but it was still dark and hubby doesn't like me out in the dark by myself! Add in the fact that we live on a highway and they are doing road construction; it's not a pretty mix for running outside! So . . . I'm a happy camper today! YAY!!!

Happy Saturday Friends! I always enjoy Saturday because it is a change of pace. I still get up early and enjoy my normal routine: quiet time, workout, and sparkin, but the rest of the day is up for grabs. Today, rain (YAY!!!) kept me inside for the majority of the day. I put the time to good use and did some decluttering and organizing. Why don't I do a little bit of that every day? I do to some extent, but I could do more!
Weigh in was not what I hoped for today. I didn't lose weight this week, but I didn't gain. Ahhh . . . there is always next week. I will just keep working hard and watch what I eat a little closer.
Not much else going on today. It was a low key day. I'm going to finish sparking and go read a book! Good Night all!

A friend brought me some fresh baked bread this morning. It is Kamut bread and it is yummy!! She also gave me the recipe and I entered it into the sparks recipe log so I can track it. I love natural, none processed foods. In the summer, I am very content eating the abundance of fruits and veggies. I miss the fresh stuff in the winter. I order from a natural food company for a co-op. I have the benefit of seeing first hand what all is ordered. As a result, I have tried many new things that I would not have tried before. Who new that my sons would be crazy about quinoa? Kamut is one of the things I was interested in, and my friend has more than tempted my taste buds! Does any one have any favorite recipes using Kamut?
Since I posted yesterday, I have had seveal inquiries about what Kamut is, so here is a bit of information.
Organic Kamut® Berries, an ancient relative of modern durum wheat, are high in protein. These plump, golden-colored berries have an unmistakable buttery flavor. Use as a satisfying cereal, pilaf, or grind the berries in your home mill.
You can probably do a google for recipes if you are interested.
