Ever since February, when my aunt introduced me to the joy that is a heart-rate monitor, I have been wondering what it would take to burn 1000 calories. So I've been pushing for it. Last weekend I thought I had it, I ran 5 miles, walked a bit, did some abs and stretch.... I felt great sure I was there. Checked my stats, EEK, 966 calories. So close!
Well yesterday I had the time to try again.Ran for 5.5 miles, walked 1.5 miles, did 10 minutes of abs and 10 minutes of stretching... 1027 alories BURNED!! Woo hoo.
Time to set some new goals...
